The next 20 days could be decisive for Roberto Mancini’s Inter as the coach has set 3 July as a deadline for having a full team.
As written by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has so far probed more than 50 names, a sign that the ideas are there but missing is always the final agreement.
Tomorrow, Monday, there may be a final answer on Thiago Motta. The Italian international is enticed by Inter’s project and would willingly return to Serie A but Inter are waiting for the response of PSG on a proposed renewal of the midfielder.
One alternative is Felipe Melo who is ready to say yes to Mancini and has even been house hunting in Milan.
Stephane M’Bia has not been given up on but for now it’s just outstanding while Milan are ahead in a move for Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Giannelli Imbula is attracted by Inter, who offered 15M Euro before Marseille requested 25M Euro. Valencia were interested in the midfielder but have bought Rodrigo Caio from Sao Paulo who plays in the same position.
Yaya Toure could return as a possible target if Manchester City go ahead with plans to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus.
Wednesday 17 June will be a day for Inter fans to circle on the calendar as UEFA will decide on Sampdoria’s participation in next season’s Europa League. If Inter do get a place in Europe at Sampdoria’s expense then the appeal and strategies of Inter could change.
For the defence the names are Martin Montoya and Antonio Rudiger as alternatives to Mehdi Benatia and Joao Miranda while in the forward positions the names are always the same in Juan Cuadrado, Javier Hernandez and Eder.

What happened to Sampdoria? Why is there the possibility of them being disqualified?
You can find news on the internet, they had 1 point deduction in a past season because of a player – betting scandal. They will probably get the UEFA Spot.
Sounds much more depressing than actual interesting mercato so far.
Shocking – Milan is crushing the mercato – their fans should be content. And their new coach will not stand for the apathetic disorganized performances they had under Pippo. He is a ball-buster.
Inter is in danger of losing their major sponsor, the fans patience, the fans hearts by selling Mateo to the same team that robbed them last time, etc. Motta or Melo? Better to have Cuchu. He is a field marshal. There is simply no urgency to do what is needed and no will power either. Disappointing and it hasn’t really started.
If this continues, Mancio will take the fall – after all, he is the one who is effing up with Mateo. But Thohir should ride the same rails out if this continues….
Milan is crushing the rumours so far, no players are confirmed for them yet.
I hope we lose Pirelli as a sponsor, we have been loyal to them for years now, accepting way under market value for a shirt sponsor for Inter. It’s time for us to move on from them we will easily get a sponsor who will pay way more than Pirelli has done for us so far.
This summer transfer windows is quite interesting. Compare to january transfer windows where we have a clue that we gonna sign Podolski, Shaqiri, or even Hernanez. This is a silent transfer windows in my opinion. Maybe there will be a sign or sell that makes the fans angry? I don’t know, but I have a trust on Inter management and Mancini on this matters. Who ever come and go, as long it create super team, then it will be fine for me.
*super team not necessarily a team that full of world star. A balance and solid team is more appropriate. 🙂
I have 0 faith in Mancio for this matter. His record is pathetic for building a team.
Let’s see what’s going to happen, since the agenda of Inter since Mazzari is to rebuild the team. I trust the management and coach right now cause I don’t think the constant change of the coach is a wise move. Hope it will be a good summer. 🙂
I prefer inter don’t buy anything and keep MK10 rather than buy imbulla, mbia, and bla bla bla…
MK10 still better than anyone..
#savekovacic#….
Forza Inter & Mancini. All unknown names, that means average players. 😀
Right now I just hope we keep Kovacic. Don’t give a rat’s ass who we get if we lose him. Imo we got a decent squad as it is, aside from the defense. If we can’t afford really good players I don’t see why we should buy mediocre ones.
Motta, M’bia, Imbula, Montoya and peresic… seems like that would be a good mercato considering our financial status
M’Bia – mediocre, Imbula – only one good season in his career, Montoya – mediocre bench warmer.
Yeah… world class is out of our reach… M’bia has won with sevilla and is cameroon’s captain. Imbula had a good season (let’s hope he continues this way) and montoya is a bench warmer for Barca… he’s definitely better than ambrosio
Cambiasso, Imbula, Peresic, Pato, Darmian. At least competive if a CB can also be found.
LETS GET MOVING. BOY I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! FORZA INTER!
I would much rather just buy 3 top quality players than buy another 8 average players who are basically on the same level as we currently have.
i disagree
Miranda is a world class defender!Cuadrado is realy good and knows the Italian League very well and Hernandez isn’t bad at all we saved real’s ass when he was playing!(Real Madrid Fan Inter supporter/fan/loving inter)!
As for montoya,Eder,Ruiger!I don’t know!Ruiger has a bright future but atm we need an amazing present same as our history!Eder and Montoya don’t seem to me like the type of players that are world class or will become!
I like montoya, he seems like he’s being held back
It might be that but 10million for a player which we cannot see potential in but he might show it is risky considering our financial situation!
We want him on loan..
Yes Miranda is world class. Inter will not get him. Cuadrado will not come. Salah maybe but he will likely pick a team in CL too. Hernandez would be good sub. Montoya may be worth a risk but better to go all in for Darmian even if likely he wont go to Inter.
Get Montoya
Expect a super hectic mercato from 17 June onward.. Match made in heaven if we finally participate in the EL! *fingers crossed*
