I remember a game where medel went back to defence… it was not pretty. I think whoever is alongside medel in chile, complements him very well
we have very good central defenders already if they are properly used – Miranda, Murillo, Medel (he can be replaced by Brozovic in the midfield of three alongside Kondogbia and Kovacic), Juan Jesus (not in form but very young with enormous potential, I remember that he has shut up Cavani when playing against Napoli several years ago), Vidic ( we can give him one more year, he is a leader), but definitely we can and have to get rid of Ranochia, Andreolli, Felipe, Campagnaro, Doncor ….

Must be the shortest CB in history but his physique and good leap probably negates the height difference compared to a typical centre back..also his high mobility compensates as well.Wish him all the best…#chileafterbrazil

I have no problem with him on CB position (except his height but it looks like it’s not a problem) but I’m not his fan as a def.mid.
