The failure of Parma which means that the lcub will have to start over in Serie D means that a great number of players are now free agents. Italian and foreign clubs are circling around the players. Among these players is the young and talented midfielder José Mauri. According to Tuttosport Juventus are in the lead to sign the player who has been linked to Inter and Milan as well in the past. Inter are said to be following another of the Parma youngsters, Alberto Cerri who had a good season at Lanciano.

This is really sad news for Italian football. I wouldn’t mind to get those 2 though. Hope Parma will bounce back and makes their way back to top tier. Very traditional football club.

They finished 6th the season before this. Hard to imagine one day you finish 6th and a year later find yourself in Serie D. I feel really bad for the fans.
