After a superb performance against England in the UEFA European U-21 Championship in which he scored a brace for Italy, Marco Benassi has spoke to Sky about his contract situation.
Here is what Benassi, who is co-owned by Inter and Torino said after Italy’s 3-1 win which saw the Italians go out due to their head to head record with Sweden:
“Do I feel ready for a big club like Inter? It is not for me to say but it is clear that if the Nerazzurri want to take me back I’d be happy.”
In the absence of an agreement between the clubs, then a blind auction will be used to resolve the ownership between Torino and Inter. Today could be a decisive day.

its intriguing sometimes, how a team like madrid or barca, munchen, MU, can reach their freaking big names and titles, and still get 1-2 of their youngsters available in their squad, and not just as bench warmers? (their league are different? but they are conquering europe and world…) and this, this inter, floating around to find players, dumping almost every primavera players, and still ending in mid table? gross
the problem is in youth competition system. overall, italian football system is suck, and that’s why italian serie a is declining in recent years.
yeah, suck. i used to love italian team in baggio’s era, time when serie a was a very respectable league, but now the league is…oh i don’t know..
I prefer CMF is suit for him, he has vusion but need more strenght.. 1 more year and he will be ready to fill rotation squad. I’d be happy if one of our primavera champs play in inter next season.

Sell him with a buyback option would be perfect. 8m for him is just too damn good to resist.
Why we did not do that for bonuci or destro.. sometimes gambling with youngster is hard.
