The Swiss magazine Blick comments on the rumors of Shaqiri to Stoke.
“The player knows nothing. He is still in Basel with his family and expects to join his teammates for preseason training next week. He hasn’t heard anything from the club about them starting the season without him. “
The article then goes on to explain how some details may have been handled before informing the player.
“Inter could have an agreement with Stoke, Everton, whichever team they want. But if Shaqiri does not agree he will not go anywhere.” They then go on stating that is true that the club has a need to cash in, but the paper also asks some questions:
“Have the nerazzurri really reached agreements with Premier League clubs without informing the player? Do they really want to liberate themselves of him? Or is Shaqiri still important to Inter, just like Roberto Mancini has underlined time and again?”

Thats the craziness of mercato, but we only trust when it’s official.
If it is true, then Mancini plans to use 4-3-1-2 system. He wants 2 strikers up front. In this case, Inter will look for signing Jovetic. If Shaqiri stays, then Mancini’s plans to purchase a winger. Therefore, Shaqiri’s speculation is about Inter’s attacking tactics next year whether to use 1 striker + 2 wingers or whether to use 2 strikers + trequartista and then 3 midfielders. My personal wish is to keep Shaqiri and then buy Lamela. I think signing Lamela will be easier than signing Cuadrado or even Salah. Inter has a strong root of Argentines and J.Zanetti should work on persuading Lamela, who was not settled well in England. Plus Mancini has a power to talk to Pochettino. Then I have a question. No matter what formation is used by Mancini, who is our trequartista/attacking midfielder behind striker(s)? KOVACIC or HERNANES? Since they are both midfielders, I doubt they play well in that position. What do you think?
I’m not even worried. Who in the right state of mind would trade a life in Milan to live in Stoke LOL and I haven’t even grazed the footballing reasons.

Shaq may wanted sold himself to a lower club for the sake of playing time. From there, he can easily move either to Liverpool or Man Utd.

No way did we accept such a low bid for him and absolutely no way does he accept the move. He turned down juve and more money from liverpool. He seems pretty committed to us.
