Some Inter fans, hearing the name of Felipe Melo, have turned their noses. The reason? His past with Juventus. La Gazzetta dello Sport explains: “Felipe Melo has exactly nothing from Juventus. If anything he left Juventus on bad terms (he was bought for 25 million and sold to Galatasaray for 8,5), regretting the fact that he didn’t wear Inter’s shirt. When he left Florence in 2009, in fact, many in the Inter dressing room, mainly Materazzi, tried to convince the directors to sign this Brazilian witht the perfect personality for the group which shortly thereafter with Mou would win everytjing.”
“In Gala Melo got to know Mancini and on Monday he crowned the dream of returning to work with one of his two favorite coaches. The other is Unai Emery, who he had at Almeria in 2007-08 and now is coaching Sevilla, a club that – as well as Cruzeiro and Flamengo – tried to persuade him in every way this summer. Melo, however, had promised Mancio in June, ready to cut his salary in half and for this he spent two months of hell, in fear that the deal would be abandoned.”
“Yesterday afternoon Mel landed at Malpensa and immediately went to sleep. In recent days he has hardly slept a wink, waiting for the happy ending.”

I for one am glad we managed to sign him, a determined warrior on and off the pitch, a player who performs on and off the pitch with 100% , he’ll add a positive and spirited attitude in the dressing room, also Telles will bring pace and trickery on the left side which we still have with Dodo, and anyone saying Dodo was a terrible flop should actually watch him play rather than avoid watching those Inter losses last season, a lot of the Nerazzurri faithfuls don’t watch all 38 games, if you did you’d see Dodo actually played decent in almost every match he played.
Maybe attacking wise but defensively I seem to rememeber he was poor…
Dodo has good qualities going forward and a good attitude but he has problems with his positional game, decision making and is simply awful at crossing the ball. He was shown up defensively on a number of occasions. He is young so can be good but has a lot to work on. To be honest he seems more likely to succeed further forward, maybe in midfield than as a defender.
( he seems more likely to succeed further forward ) 100% with u and this is what i really think
well say my friend , i can never say it express it as u did ,,
do u know what the best about Dodo is ??
his charterer on and off the field , positive , spirited attitude and the fact he is a nature leader
