In today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport the salaries of the players in Serie A are presented. After the cuts made in recent seasons, Inter’s median has been increased this season. The highest paid footballer is Kondogbia with 3.5 million net per season, followed by Icardi, Vidic and Palacio on 3.2. Inter is the club that has increased the total costs of salaries the most in Serie A. Below is the complete list:

Vidic should go this winter. 3.2 million euros for sitting ass nicely at home is a joke. His salary should be allocated for Handanovic, Murillo and Medel rise. Eder will come to Inter and take Rano’s salary this winter. While Nagatomo, D’ambrosio will be sold and Palacio will be gone back to Argentina next summer with Lavezzi or Lamela is taking his spot and salary next summer. This would be the most efficient budget allocation for Inter.

We have a team where the coach is paid more than our players and our previous coach is paid the same amount as kondogbia….Something does not seem right haha. It is excellent ploy by the management if you think about it. We have players that want to play with a top quality coach and at a team like inter, so they are taking significant pay cuts. Icardi, kondogbia, medel, handanovic, miranda, murillo, perisic, jovetic – all these players could easily be making 3-7 million/yr on a different more popular and rich team. some salaries are high as they should be, some players tho should be paid more imo but some should be payed less as well… oh well… Anyways, including players, coach and staff we spend 55mil on salaries per year without bonuses ( in case someone didnt know Mancini is the highest paid coach in Seria A atm – 4 mil/year + bonuses and we still have to pay Mazzari 3,5mil/year ).
Ofcourse its going to increase, we brought in some amazing players. Vidić and Palacio should be paying the retirement home to take them instead of leeching on our money as two of the highest earners behind Kondogbia.
