Just a few hours after losing his job at Chelsea, several teams started the hunt to sign José Mourinho. The Portuguese coach was contacted by Roma, as a substitute for Rudi Garcia who seems to be on his way out. But Mourinho turned the offer down according to Sky Sport.
According to Tancredi Palmeri, Milan have made an approach as well.

So this is the great Mourinho? the Unemployed one ? i won’t argue his coaching abilities but i will teach everyone a lesson. There are several teams that I can call “career killers” and the top 2 are Real Madrid and Chelsea……ironically he coached both teams.
I wish Mou was available last December, when we were desperate. Right now Inter cannot fire Mancini.
Would you guys rather have Mancini or Mou? To be honest, I’m torn. I believe in and trust Mancini, but if we don’t qualify for CL I’d take Mou back in a heartbeat. I don’t think Mou will return to Serie A for any other team but Inter…
Right now we need stability. So i think we should stick with Mancini for 2-3 more years and then we could get Mou.
If Mancini fails to get top 3, bring back Mourinho
he won’t fail
Hmm.. Spalletti seems all set to take over his old team, not Mou (who could join Utd soon)…
I would rather he coach roma instead of jube or bbilan…. let’s hope he coaches none of them.
Milan are funny, always going for our targets and nos our ex coach whos in love with Inter!
Mou to Roma would be very good for Serie A but bad for Inter.
anything that is good for serie a is bad for inter !!
No way jose, u cant go back to serie a to other than inter.. better to go back to el real, they need ur help, benitez made madrid play not as good as ancelotti era, he wouldnt win the spanish league title this year
If he said no to Roma then I’m sure Rube or Bbilan wont get his signature.
Even though he doesn’t want one, I think Jose needs a break from football for a while to come back stronger. He wasn’t the same charismatic, wise cracking old Mourinho. Madrid took a lot out of him. Always lessons to be learned from failure. Good luck to him in the future
Shudder. With the team and players Roma already have, with the players he could get to come and play for him and his relentless hard work he can actually make them a formidable contender for the title for years to come. Glad he said No. Let’s also hope he keeps his word to never take Milan or Juve, too. Better yet, let’s hope he stays in England.
lol
Joke of the week
Let’s see if he can keep his promise.
He won’t go. Even Milan apparently contacted him!!
