Erick Thohir could be new president figure of Swansea, after West Brom knocked him back

For a few weeks the Italian media have been pushing the idea of Erick
Thohir taking over at a Premier League club, which they believe is the
Indonesian’s next aim. The face of an Inter Milan takeover, Thohir
promised an awful lot, and it wouldn’t be too unfair to say he hasn’t
lived up to expectations.
In Italy, it’s been repeatedly reported that Thohir made an attempt
to take over at West Brom. Last week Italian newspaper Corriere dello
Sport claimed Thohir was in the process of selling some Inter Milan
shares, with the plan being that he would then make a renewed attempt
for West Brom.
We couldn’t quite fathom how Thohir would fund a West Brom takeover,
unless he was assisted by others. With that in mind, it’s worth pointing
out that Thohir owns MLS club DC United, along with Jason Levien.
Levien is the man expected to take over at Swansea City, and the
Sunday edition of Tuttosport newspaper explains that Thohir would likely
want to get involved, and could be a club director, in a presidential
type role… something which appears to be Thohir’s dream.
Other executives at Inter are said to be trying to convince Thohir to
concentrate on the Inter project, and not sells shares, but his eye has
been caught by the bright lights of the Premier League.

There are different types of STs. Icardi is a poacher, his job is to stay in the square and wait for the ball. This guy is class, he gets 2-3 passes per match and he still manage to score almost everytime he shots on goal. We need to bring some midfielders and form a team around him. Last year he was the topscorer in Serie A, now he is in second place. He has 50 goals in 100 appeareances for Inter, not even Milito or Mazzola managed to score so many goals in 100 matches.

I gues thats exactly why some fans here prefer another type of striker, Icardi wont grow taller, and with this build he doesnt generate too much power to fend off defender just like Maxi Lopes did with Miranda.
But i can also see how RM try to build a team around Icardi by having good wingers and forward that tends to drop deep. If Icardi and Perisic maintaining their current form, and somehow we managed to have a pair of good FBs, with this kind of MF plus Ljajic and maybe an upgrade for Brozo, i believe we will have a better result next season.
i just hope Icardi can be loyal and stay with us..
