Caner Erkin’s agent, Batur Altiparmak no longer hides the fact that Inter and his player are close. The Fenerbahce fullback will be available on free transfer in summer and when his agent spoke to Futbol Arena he confirmed that the deal can be reached the next few days:
“In the week end, Monday at the latest we will meet with Inter for this transfer.”
One step closer to an Italy arrival for Erkin who after the Euro 2016 tournament will likely join Roberto Mancini’s Inter.

Why do I have the feeling he’s going to be Telles 2.0. Can’t we just sell all the worthless crap and invest in actual players. Our FB’s are the weakest link in the team and yet Mancio keeps signing offensive players. How many points have we dropped this season cause of Nagatomo or D’umbrosio’s stupidity in defense? Not to mention their absolute determination to never cross a decent ball.

Trust me, this guy is an amazing crosser. I spoke to some turkish guys and they told be that he is very good when it comes to attack, but not that good when it comes to defend. But, they told me that he is better than Telles on every aspect of the game.
that sounds ‘awesome’, since none of our fullbacks know how to defend… which should be the #1 trait of a fullback. another (the 10th in a row?) mediocre signing for the wing
The big difference I feel, is that erkin is an established national player for turkey while telles is a no name who will never have the international experience. That and erkin is just better
Telles is much younger and a Brasilian. The competition in this country is on a whole different level. I haven’t seen Erkin in an actual match, just watched the youtube vids, but they also make Nagatomo look like a God there, so I can’t say I have a good impression. Looks like we’re signing him, so let’s hope he delivers.

Maybe cuz he didn’t want to sing a new contract. But he is a starter for his national team.
Probably because he refused to extend his contract,but he was first choice for last few seasons when he avaraged 35 apperances and 10 assists in a season so i guess he is a solid player,probably better then all of our full backs and he is free afterall so we cant lose much..i mean he cant possibly be lot worser then what we have now..
Give him what he wants, 2,5 m salary is good for both of us

Do you watch him often?
Not that much but I have seen a couple games in national team and 1 for Fenerbache. Definitely better than Telles, good left foot and he seems like a guy that never gives up.
