Inter are working on obtaining Sporting Lisbon and Portugal‘s Joao Mario Gazzetta dello Sport underline. The Portuguese club will settle for nothing less than the players 45 million euro release clause. Contacts with the players representatives have and are taking place as Inter push to sign the midfielder.

To find the fair valuation, divide the Portuguese player buy-out clause by five. Joao Mario’s buy-out clause is set at 60 million euros thus his fair value should be around 12 million euros. If we doubled it by paying 24-25 million euros, we would be the ultimate dumb ass. Moreover, I’m afraid he would be just a flop like Quaresma. Nothing special about him. To me, it’s just a big gamble.
yeah right..45 mil..not even inter is that stupid
I haven’t seen him with sporting but having watched every Portugal game in Euro, I think he’s a solid player… And only 23 if I remember correctly. However, 45mln is too much for him right now.
He’s nothing special.
He’s Not good with portugal…
he is very good actually but his price is 3 time more than what it should be so NO
Better then Biabiany…. but overpriced.
another quaresma and guarin case :/
i really losing hope in mercato deal with portugal’s clubs
Joao Mario. Ab attacking midfielder who can’t score and us way overpriced. I hope it doesn’t happen.
i really don’t want another kondogbia situation where we might have to wait a couple of years for jose mario to become something special. we need a special midfielder right now if we wanna get top 3.
we already got the special one in banega, we need a young talent he can help develop
i think we need another ready midfielder who can play with banega, we can sign all the young talents we want next year when we have more money. but i want us to sign ready made players for the midfield so we can really push on for top 3
He’s one overpriced shit.
I’m ok with this transfer if he comes to play as a central midfielder( and if we pay max 25m), a midfield Kondo-Banega-Joao is really balanced. But for the right winger spot I prefer Berardi.
He definitely wont be CM if he arrives. He played RW for the majority of last season for sporting.
He made 6 goals 11 assists, which isnt bad. But i believe Inter needs a more direct player who is a goalscoring threat. Perisic doesnt score that much, neither does Banega and not this guy either.
Inter needs another offensive player capable of scoring 10+ league goals pr season.
Add to that, the huge gamble it is to buy players in portugal. Seems like a stupid move to make. Hopefully it doesnt happen.
” offensive player capable of scoring 10+ league goals per season”
That’s Berardi 😀
