Antonio Candreva is complete, now Inter move on to securing Gabigol, Gianluca Di Marzio says. An offer has been sent to Santos by the nerazzurri but as of yet it is unclear if the Brazilian club have agreed to the proposal.
Gabigol arriving wouldn’t mean curtains for Mauro Icardi’s time at Inter as the young Brazilian forward is seen as more of an investment. Negotiations are officially underway and now it’s just a case of playing the waiting game.

I’m still not sure about him… Is he ready for Serie A and is he good enough…?
Man Gabigol or Gabriel Jesus just get us one for future sake don’t repeat the Lucas Moura story its hard to see how great he is in PSG
I’m praying for our captain to stay. There is none better and we will will be sorry if we let him go to Napoli. We don’t know the financial situation wkth the Club and spending but to lose Icardi now that we seem to be getting players who can get the ball to him is immature! I read some comments on a website (not an inter site) English I think and they were talking about napoli and Icardi after the author was critical of the amount being proposed by napoli. And to my surprise some napoli fans were defending the amount, because they understood not only his value but that there are no better options in Italy. Something our fans fail to understand.Sure they are better strikers (imo not many) but not in Italy! And no big club fighting for UCL should sell there best forward because the money looks good now! Icardi will improve and will value more or around the same in years to come. A BIG NO to the sale!
They got Milik. It’s over. He will stay and renew.
Milik got #99 shirt. #9 is still free
I believe that condition is depend on icardi situation. It will take long time, just wait and see.
So far we only see juve more complete and our team run in place. The treble just a memory, hope it happen again soon.
For the team, mancini, suning and all inter fans, let’s think, work and pray for our la beneamata Inter.
Gabriel jesus pleasee,we need him more
I prefer Gabriel Jesus than him, but if it’s true that might be a good move from Inter to get another interesting young winger.
Same here.
yeah GJ is better than him but he’s going to man city
Man, Gabriel Jesus is a tricky winger, a Neymar-type of winger, I don’t think he can have a future in serie A.
actually gabriel jesus and barbosa are naturaly a striker.. but because they have the speed, the skill and can play as a winger too, most of the time they played as a winger to accomodate the senior striker in their club.. gabriel jesus already made a goal record as a striker for brasilian u-20 national team.. same goes to barbosa.. they not calling him gabigoal for nothing..
Neymar was also a ST when he was playin for Santos.
actually neymar always played behind the striker( allan karcec, ze eduardo, miralles, etc) and as a winger.. he only played as a striker just before barca sign him. and he’s naturally a winger/ss since his younger age. barbosa and jesus are the opposite from him, they are a striker that utilized as a winger.. but for a young player, their position still can be change when they hit their 20’s or their mature age as a player..
Barbosa vs Jesus
I believe that in such risky investments we should really look after the player`s personality, character, habits and off-the-pitch life, as these are essential factors for his development.
I would pick the one that has more determination to succeed and the higher work rate in trainings [we all know Serie A trainings are not easy from Kondogbia].
I like that Barbosa isn’t avoiding to use his right foot aswell, even scoring a couple of times. But sometimes his shots look weak – even his upper body build looks stronger than his legs.
I also like that Barbosa is quick, has acceleration and seems more direct.
Gabriel Jesus seems to have a higher ceiling [potential], better technique and superior dribbling. I know, Quaresma seemed to be great at dribbling too, but he failed. GJ seems confident on keeping the ball and can still learn a lot [like Ronaldo was a winger and turned into a complete forward].
But taking our league into account, Barbosa might be better equipped for INTER! His style is more direct and he doesn’t look like a kid, bit reminds me of Tevez. He does not hold the ball too much, wasting precious time! I think he could be more useful for a counter-attacking team like ours.
Who would you sign out of these 2?
some brazilian fans said that G. jesus is more talented and have a good physical games than barbosa. but agree with you, barbosa seems to be a better investment for inter.. simply because according to the brazilian, he has good attitude and a professional athlete. and G. jessus is a bit moody..
Well if I would have 25m for that “future/potential” spot, I would spend it all on Berardi – the real deal – proven in Serie A and great mental strength. Flashy brazilians may flop in Serie A just like Quaresma did, you need top mentality for this tactical championship.
Some would even rather try to sign Bernardeschi from Fiorentina… Barbosa is the “only one lefft” since GJ is going to City [official]. Heck, I would also rather pick Guardiola than Mancini!
Let’s hope Barbosa can prove himself in Serie A if he signs for us, as it’s a great investment [forwards are the most expensive players].
it’s not that inter don’t want to sign berardi but sassuolo don’t want to sell.. and remember bro, sassuolo president is a milanista, and there is rubentus on the way. so signing him at least this season is an impossible tast.. and bernardeschi are still on out purchase list.. guardiola aproach the player directly, just like mancini did to kondogbia and and other player we sign last season. i think that is the key for their succesfull transfer operation in this case.. on other hand, mancini still confused with our club transfer policy at the time.. because no body know who really in charge know, sunning or tohir. i think that’s one of the reason our transfer operation a bit slow this time..
this sounds better: Ansladi + Candreva + Gabigol + Erkin + Banega = 35m
and ausilio’s still working for midfielder.
Yes, I think so.
We’ll pay only 5m this summer for Candreva that’s why we can afford Gabigol too.
Would be a great signing, don’t say “where would he start” he’s not going to start yet, we need more depth at attack and he can do that! He can play as rotation for this year and get eased in, as opposed to Kondogbia and Perisic who only shined in second half of the season
He’ll start, I think we are going to play 4-4-2
Icardi-Gabigol
Perisic-Kondo-Banega-Candreva
Erkin-Murillo-Miranda-Ansaldi
Handa
Jojo looks great in pre season, so it’d be a hard competition for starting spot.
He will still play a lot of games, Jojo is not fit to start every match in the season. However, if we know our coach right, he will bench one striker so that Melo can play…
Melo and Medel will start together.
I wanna fast forward to September 1st and get it over with lol
If we don’t sell Icardi how are we able to sign Candreva and gabigol? I think Icardi will be sold if we get gabigol
Gabriel jesus is more talented than him, but in football talent alone isn’t enough… idk lol
Gabriel Barbosa or Gabriel Jesus ? Tough choice. I was more excited by the “second coming of Jesus” though..
It can not be true before ending of the captain story.
If Di Marzio says so then this is true.
