Roberto Mancini took to Twitter to share his feelings after his sacking by Inter.
“Today, my career ends with Inter Milan, it was a mutual decision with the club, made in complete serenity” he firstly tweeted.
He then tweeted, “I would like to thank the nerazzurri supporters, who with passion and loyalty have always supported me.”
“I thank the players too, who in these 20 months were beautiful and impeccable professionals.”
“Thanks also to the people who worked with me at Appiano, the ownership of the club and the leaders.”
He concluded, “I wish Inter and the fans a future full of satisfaction and important milestones.”

Don’t understand what’s going on at our beloved club. Mancini has quited because he wasn’t happy with the transfer plans of the club (us focusing on youngsters in the future like another Udinese or Sassuolo) and not going for ready made players at the right age, 28-29, to make us win NOW, like we used to do. That’s why he left I gues and why a great talent developer is arriving… De Boer has no experience from coaching abroad and doesn’t know the Serie A neither as a coach or as a player. And if you ask the Arsenal fans wether you win anything with babies and talent developing you all know what the answer is!
We aren’t Sassuolo we’re INTER and we should always go for the titles and the best players on the market(like Mancini wanted)…
No. 28-29 is not the right base to build.
What? you bought them very expensive, but they won’t guarantee you a title. And after that? one or two years later they’re reach the age of 30’s and suddenly declining significantly in performance. You gain almost nothing but you paid too much. It’s not a very good investment. Better to build a team consisting mainly in the range of 18/19 to 26/27.
It’s not that we won’t have any experienced player in our squad at all. The agreement to buy Candreva (29) is a proof that Suning and Thohir did consider the necessity of a quality and experience. But some of what Mancini’s demand and preferences are just far too risky and excessive (in terms of age and future development, not just the price), like Felipe Melo (33) last season and Yaya Toure (33) now which is denied by the management. Candreva is more expensive to sign, but they still choose to agree to take him rather than Yaya, which is a good decision. 5 or 6 players in the age of Candreva would be enough for a good team balance, the rest would be under 27. No need 30++ players (except for GK and to keep Legends / Captain). That should be the vision of Inter’s squad from here on out.
Really warm gesture eventhough I’m not convinced the words coming from his own finger. If only he’s trying harder when handling media, he might have better luck in his career.
I wished Shakiri was still at inter, under development boar could have been great
never expect you to be succeed after the 2nd appointment. I remember the whining after Liverpool lost that year. Anyway, grazie mister, you put good shape for the next coach, just like you did last time before Mou’s arrival.
Respect
Good luck mancio, thank you for this!
i forgive you.
Grazie Mancio, before you nobody wanted to come here. Thank you also for not being mad for sacking, like e.g. Benitez.
I think Mancini is the right man to build and bring Inter back to top 3.
– I Don’t rate him among Mourinho or Ancellotti, but he definitely is top manager and are more reputable than most coaches that you guys suggested
– His record shows he is indeed good at building a team. Mancity have the money but couldn’t build a team until Mancini came, Same for Inter.
– Regardless we love him or not, he done what all other coach failed in the pass 5 years
– I was upset that we finish fourth last season, but to look at it objectively for 5 years our defence were horrible, he fix it, and we are more solid and defend more as a team, thou we really lack creativity in attack, and are boring to watch
– Like it or not he had exorcise most of our problem and build a team now, not a top team yet, but after 5 years at least the only manager that really build a team, which will make it easier for his predecessor
However, now he had left, I thank him, and wish him all the best
As for De Boer (if he is appointed)
– I hope he will prove to be a top coach
– playing fluid passing is nice in the eye, but you can make it in Italy with just fluid passing, Smaller team will just wait for you to attack, they pack the final third they don’t simply chase and causes their defence to run out of shape, they stay in position, and he’s fortunate he have Banega in this team, makes things easier.
– I hope he will improve tactically real quick, while playing nice passing, not many team manage to play nice passing game with a good defence,
– Smaller team don’t offer you much space, and they will take advantage of tactical deficiency to hit on you.
– All in all i’m worried yet excited.
Good luck, Sir!
at least he has a sense of humor while being pranked…

goodbye and goodluck too mancio.. ^^
Gentlemen. Good luck
i really hope De Boer is prepared for serie a and i hope he is a tactical genius otherwise we are screwed like we were getting screwed these past 5/6 yrs
even though I’m really happy with your departure, that’s a very gentle farewell words from you. All the best for you, Mancio
Agree. Good luck in the future Mancini!
