I don’t think that’s a good sign buying players before contacting your manager to see if he’s ok with it, such policies don’t fit world-class teams. I hope I’m wrong and De Boer already knows and has given thumbs up. Mancio did interfere too much and didn’t handle denial very well, but imagine if Mourinho returned and suddenly the Chinese started buying players for him without asking him.
There is only 3 weeks left in the mercato, thats not enough time for De Boer to properly get to know and analyse the team and then be able to point out what he views as the main areas that needs reinforcements.for him to implement his playing style.
Only thing that can be done with so little time, is buying a few good players and then hope De Boer can make something of it.
De Boer have given the “Ok” to go ahead and trying to get him.
