Inter have confirmed that after a scan, Cristian Ansaldi has strained his medial collateral ligament but didn’t disclose how long the summer signing would be on the sidelines for. One thing for sure however is he’ll miss the friendly with Celtic this weekend and is likely to miss the Serie A opener against Chievo.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and will force us to buy another competent fullback. Kenny Tete has been mentioned, but I also wouldn’t mind continued interest in Bruno Peres.
