Stevan Jovetic could be seeing his way out of Inter before the end of this summer. He is currently on a 2-year loan with conditional redemption to buy for 14.5 million once he makes an official appearance for the Nerazzurri this season. On the other hand, if they choose not to play him but occupy a top 3 spot in December 2016, they will have to pay the fee.
Jovetic is a talented striker who Inter brought in to boost their attack, which he was able to do on ocassion with his creativity and eye for goal. In this case, they will be using him as bait to fund other purchases. Similarly to how the Xherdan Shaqiri deal of last summer played out.
Fiorentina seem to be an interested party and await his return. The only problem would be the financials. They aren’t likely to afford his wage/transfer fee.

im not mad that jovetic could be sold. I think Jovetic is a good player who could be an important part of our attack- even through his injuries and poor attitude.
I just don’t get why the management would be cheap over a player like him, yet are so headstrong over Joao Mario who is ok, but definitely not worth 45 million when our midfield is good to begin with.
If you’re de Boer and want to play a tiki taka or whatever- wouldnt it make more sense to sell Icardi? this is the most expensive he will ever be. He could get hurt tomorrow and never score a goal again for all we know. that would easily fund Joao Mario + 3 other top transfers. Wouldn’t that make a little more sense financially and tactically?

Personal i think it’s a heavy price too for Mario, but his utility could come in good use and although he is arriving from Portugal, he still has some strong merits from the national team. I would like to see it happen.
