Ever since Gabriel Barbosa’s transfer to Inter, Barcelona has been everything but happy with how Santos handled the affair. Now the President of the Catalonian club, Josep Bartomeu says they will go to FIFA or ordinary courts in order to get justice. According to Bartomeu, Barcelona and Santos made a deal during the completion of the Neymar transfer to give the Spanish side 72 hours exclusive first rights to Santos players. In the case of Gabigol, Barcelona only got 24 hours. Inter and Inter fans have nothing to worry about, Gabigol is and will be an Inter player no matter what. For Barcelona, their first objective is to get the 3 million Euro they spent for the exclusive rights to Gabigol, back from Santos.

Sure santos might be breaching 2/3 of the deal (24 hours notice instead of 72 hours), but to defend Santos, inter & rube already voicing for gabigol’s transfer since weeks prior. Surely that uefalona might heard the wind of it. All i can see that by trying to not answering santos’s email (it’s fucking Santos, surely you will notice it immediately) in hoping to disrupt gabigol’s transfer to inter is a very cheap and politically disgusting move by the uefalona.

A whole another story is why they’re allowed to make such deals with clubs in the first place. They have the money to make such deals with every club with a decent youth academy in the world. So the FFP forbids any club (meaning apart from England and Spain) to spend a lot on players, but Barca getting first choice for any rising talent is perfectly OK.
