Frank De Boer took to Instagram to comment on his dismissal from Inter. Under a photo of the Inter fan’s tifo from the 2010 Champions League, the Dutchman wrote a caption expressing sadness as well as gratitude to Inter’s fans.
“It’s a shame it ended like this. In order to take this project further, time was needed. I want to thank all the fans for their support they gave these couple of months. “Forza Inter””

Sam olsen is a complete idiot plan don’t comment on inter u are not a true fan u are a swedish dick head like fdb u know nothing so don’t ever ome near inter milan ultras because they are goin to kick your ass bitch
I never thought I would say this but – Inter, you are now officially a shit club. We are in our 5th “zero year” and there is still no clear strategy what needs to be done, what type of players we need, which coach is the right coach, do we need experienced players, do we need youngsters etc etc. We hire and fire people as if it’s nothing, we change owners like it’s a normal thing to do, as if we’re some amateur club that just started working professionally and still doesn’t know how the world of football works.
Fans are already used to this type of behaviour, asking for a coach to be sacked after weeks or several months (seriously, which world class club does such a thing?)
Unless something fundamental changes, I don’t see Inter in the CL in the next 5 years. The thing is, I don’t have a clue what that thing is, but even worse, the club doesn’t either.
Good luck Frank, thanks for all the efforts!
Thanks that at least you try, wasn’t afraid to jump in the dark. Going against all stakes, against biased media who talked about your resignation before you was even started, against spoiled, ingnorant fans who soon will looking for the next scapegoat and asking for your successor’s head!
Thanks that you want and try to play some beautiful, attacking football, which in Italy is deadly sin. Not parking the bus and waiting for some occasional or lucky mistake to win! Understanding that in the first place, football supposed to be entertainment and that there’s most important things of wining at all costs!
Thanks that you wasn’t afraid to give firsts steps on the pitch with our shirt to our homegrown youngsters like Miangue and if you have more time, I’m sure that there will be more like him!
And remember, winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a big champion someday!
how many months will it be when the next coach leaves at the end od league?
inter will change three coaches in less than ten months.

want good results ?!?!
hahaha, … what a joke !
a bitter one ….
Better its end this way and NOW. FdB clearly is a mistake and need to be corected immediately. Its obvious his way will not get us enough points to qualify for next year’s Europa League nevermind CL.
The mgmt decision in appointing him had turned out to a mistake, a big mistake. But I applauded the mgmt for the courage to change before its too late.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsZkCFoqSBs
THE ONLY THING I WILL REMEMBER HIM FOR
its 2016, dictatorship don’t work anymore, you messed up the whole spirit of the team and keep asking what is wrong ? you did it, I wish you a good career however, Im not gonna remember you as a good coach that even tried
Thanks Meneer, i’m sorry for this end.
But imho even the young SAF will be sacked in no time, if he coaching inter nowadays…
The managements spit on their own face when they said that they have a long
term project with youngsters, but they don’t have anytime of a little patience for the
coach who preoccupied with our deadwoods and all the dramas on the team.
His only legacy was beer sheva memories
garbage coach
Classic shit Inter decision…
thanks for shouting out what I think.
such a stupid banana club inter have become ….pathetic
He should’ve never taken the job, if I was him I would’ve said no thanks.
Mancini should’ve been fired at the end of last season and we would’ve had time to find a suitable replacement. They also would’ve had some time to build and train the squad.
Can someone tell me why de boer never played gabigol I personally think he had something against him and didn’t like gabigol, now we might get to see our big money signing play or at least come on as a substitute instead of boring old palacio who is injured at the moment,we brought gabigol to inter milan immediately to play immediately if you had no plans to play him we should have left him in Brazil,, de boer alienated gabigol and kondogbia too and his final parting shot at gabigol was to not even list him on the match day squad vs sampdoria and say he was injured what does that tell you about de boer? He is a liar gabigol was not injured and he wanted to be che3ky to inter owners 1 last time by saying this is what I think of your brazilian star hes not even good enough to be on my match day squad which we all know is ridiculous so once again good riddance that dutch fuck wit de boer is gone go back to holland and coach some shit team like jong ajax or den Hague u wanker u suck
To be honest I really don’t give a fuck about Gabi… I want to see Inter win and I don’t think Gabi would’ve made any difference in any game the past 3mos. We continue to give up goals and really stupid ones, that’s honestly the biggest issue.
Isn’t funny how almost everybody here crying about Gabriel Barbosa!!! And who the fuck is Gabriel? Where he prove himself to expect everybody like he will be our savior? Is he the new Messiah or something? Don’t you think that that’s sounds pathetic?
everybody who keep mentioning about Jojo and Gabigol is can be considered as pathetic now. FDB was right to stick with combination of Perisic-Icardi-Candreva/Eder for most of our match, we just unlucky to not score as much as the chance they got.
We spent big money on barbosa thats why we need to play him I mean we can’t afford to spend nearly 30million euros and not play him
Mixed feelings on this one…can’t believe its starting over as quick as it began.
Thanks for trying Franky. Good luck on your next adventure FDB , hope it goes better!
And now lets see how this pans out for inter
problem is he wasn’t even trying , me and u could of done a better job
He did try. He stepped up to the plate when he could of said No Thanks to Inter. Maybe he just isn’t suited for Seria A..but we will never truly know because he wasn’t given a lot of time. And I do agree the event results were very disappointing. Just wasn’t a good decision by management to hire a forgein coach with with a different philosophy with 2 weeks prior to the season
u make it look like he sacrificed himself, he was jobless and was offered a good long contract and major money, no one is gonna turn that down and it was the biggest team he ever coached
You make it look like Coaching Inter Milan is a piece of cake. He tried, but failed. He even learned Italian in order to give interviews and better communicate with players and the management. Which isnt easy. His contract actually payed him significantly less than Mancini, since you want to bring up money.
Im not happy with the recent results for Inter. You make it seem like its easy..If its so easy why arent you a candidate to coach Inter then?? LOL
he will still get paid for the next 2 and a half years, and its obvious his pay should be less than mancini, mancini won the pl and also calcio many times, it wasn’t a hard decision at all for him to take inters job, he did not adapt to the Italian league as easy as that and didn’t try to change himself , his brain will never be able to function right to run a club in Italy
Mancini was not that good, he won PL at last game, calcio with luck. even ranieri can win PL last season with his garbage squad compared to los galaticos mancini’s squad.
don’t know about that, I heard 3 seasons , any source u might have?
I am not Interista, but I do feel Calcio needs a strong Inter especially With Italy being represented by Inter in the Europa league this season at least. This manager merry-go-round that Inter have jumped onto does not work. Look at Palermo, they change manager after every couple of losses more or less and they are languishing in the bottom 3 now and have yo-yo’d between Serie A and B over the last few seasons. Teams need stability and this is something not being given to Inter. Running a club from China will not help either. Inter are becoming the team to play in Europe instead of a team to fear. These 1 off results like, against Juve or Southampton are blips and not the start of a new chapter. Until stability is introduced this won’t end and Interisti will continually live in the hope that things have turned a corner each time there is a “surprise” win.
Time. I remember when Jurgen Klopp went to Liverpool recently and picked up a monumental 12 points from his first nine games in charge, or when Mauricio Pochettino won only three of his first nine matches with Tottenham in his first season in charge. Strange they didnt sack either but they seem to be doing alright now once the coach was able to get the team he wanted, playing the way he wanted. This decision was taken way too early. The fact that he was under threat of being fired weeks ago makes it even more of a joke. Why bring in a new manager when he is under threat of being sacked after only a couple of matches?
Surely you could see de boers body language and the way he would communicate with the players whilst the game was being played?de boer was terrible he showed no passion towards inter he was quite as a mouse, I don’t know what it would have taken to have de boer inject his man managing skills and a strong presence into this lack luster inter team,,, congratulations inter milan owners and management on trying out de boer and firing him once we all seen he had no idea what it means to manage a massive club so to answer your statement sam olsen that is why they brang in a manager and he only last a short time,,, de boer had a opportunity to show what he wanted to establish at inter but had no idea how to do it
Is that really the way you would run a business. Bringing someone in giving them a few weeks to do something then sacking them at the cost of millions? Wow. Under that theory we will be going through a crap load of managers this year
And how many millions will not reaching the CL again cost? What about the sponsorship that is supposed to be sold worldwide? FFP becomes a problem again. Any self respecting organisation interested in sponsoring an Italian team would look at the table and sponsor Atalanta.
But do you understand that we had a bigger chance of getting to the CL spot with FdB than we will with any coach that joins now??! Stop living in fantasy land, getting a team to play the way you want and win is a process that takes TIME.
I thought it was the top 3 who got CL spots, has UEFA suddenly changed it to the bottom 3? I didnt want anyone sacked since Mazzari but I can understand why. Now that he is gone, now he can be defended because it was very difficult to do so after being humiliated by Calgari wasn’t it?
Np run a business out of lov for my club and passion to invest and succeed you mr olsen re a wannabe who in actual fact a very negative immature little swedish man who doesn’t love inter because nob who loves them puts so much shit on them only u some dumb swede up urself snob like ibra lol pisd off u closet interista ultras internazional will se u soon okay,,,
He had no idea what to do really? Maybe thats why we played the best style of football in years, because the coach didnt know what to do
Style? What good is style? When results are printed in a paper does it say in brackets after the losing teams score that they played a nice style of football and are awarded 3 points for it?
Dude, he was the coach for 2 months. TWO MONTHS. Some coaches still don’t know their players’ names after two months.
De Boer gave us a recognisable style in such a short period which is insane if you ask me. Yes, I know that in the end it’s results that matter but I’d rather spend some more time and get results WHILE playing good football instead of getting points with the style we played under Mazzarri for example. I literally fell asleep when I was watching Inter games with him as coach.
Agreed Mazzari was a mistake, I would have stuck with FDB until Xmas at least. But by then all the good players would be asking to leave. Lets not forget he lost the dressing room and thanks to him we will probably lose Handa because of not getting in CL. Inter are not Spurs or Liverpool, the fans want success now.
Dude u suck fdb dick lol u have no idea what consistent good football is u are a stupid little kid lol go play with your barbie dolls kid or dude u suck
I must say sam olsen I continually read your points of view and I respect your opinion but can you please stop being so negative towards our owners of past and current, you made a point about why inters so poorly run you come out and try and make a case for why de boer was brought in to inter if he was immediately under the pump, yes well congratulations for continually questioning our owners moves and decisions and pointing your finger at them but man in times like now inter milans fans need to unite under our beloved blue and black colors and stick staunch by our club and owners and please stop being a big bitch and criticizing the inter milan structure instead lets look forward to reaching the top of Europe again together as 1 my friends we dont need any so called inter milan fans continually making points of why inter milan are in such a bad way we already know this we try look past it sam olsen so what you need to do is do the fucking same and stop your negative bitching or fuck off your no inter fan your a bitch
We need someone to sack our management!
he is not suited for serie a , what don’t you understand? everyone is raping us and outplaying us, two pass and they are one on one with handanovic right away
Shut up, clueless person
fuck off retard, eat a dick dumbass you are blind
Klopp had managed a team that was successful in Germany (a top league) Poch had been been good with a team in the same league as Spurs (familiarity). They are both good guys, their players love them! They hadnt lost their respective dressing rooms after 5 games. I agree about time. How about giving Beppe Baresi until the end of the season.
He was sacked for loosing almost every match inter played u dummy how can u keep a manager when u loose so many games and play shocking football that looks messt and un attractive
Idiot how come u ask stupid questions. ? U put shit on inter owners an fans I tell u now sam olsen u are in masive troule with interista u bitch us ultras hate u and if e ser you we will put u in ur place u bitch
Thanks for the hardwork meneer!
I am very sad to see him left Inter, no I dont love him but why this situation always happen to Inter…
don’t be sad, we have top players and they play like amateurs under him, every team is like Barcelona against us
LOL I was not sad at de Boer, but sad about Inter’s fortune lately. Why this always happen why??
we still have the triple, and rich owners it will only get better from here on trust me on that
I am sad because it is year 0 again not for FDB or any other coach. Maybe we should start calling it Month 0?
Well said mate. However this isnt month zero, this must be called Month Sucks
I think your only mistake was taking the job in the first place with only 10 days of preparation. The blame falls on the Inter management who should have at least gone with someone who knew Serie A .
“in order to take this project TO SERIE B time was needed”
exactly my Persian friend
Thank you for beating Turin based clubs and wish you the best.
Good luck Sir…
I like the fact that you worked hard for us, shamed that it wasn’t successful.
working hard is analyzing the other teams tactic like mou did for us , this guy doesn’t even have a brain he played the same way against every one screw this bitch, he made us a lighting stock and made it a mountain to climb in the EL, on Thursday we are about to get eliminated, shit will get even worse , he fucked everything up
Pretty sure he analyzed other teams’ tactics as you can see during his press conf. He tried to learn Italian and he really made effort (https://sempreinter.com/sv/2016/09/12/sky-de-boer-busy-immersing-nerazzurri/).
Whether he was successful applying his strategy is other thing…
Some of our losses in serie A can be attributed for player mistakes. Obviously he made questionable line ups as well.
Right now we probably need a motivator coach. Leo and Strama first half was good although they aren’t tactical genius.
no totally wrong, in the el we could of lost 5-0 in the first two games, no possible excuse for that
I rarely comment but this time i have to say that this club and its management is a joke
the mistakes was to appoint this Dutch joke, we did well to get rid of this amateur wanno be coach
Exactly, thats what is so hard to understand from the guys on here, loyalty to FDB. Why? 33% success? He lost the dressing room for good reason ages ago. I blame management for hiring him not for sacking him.
endless circle reach another step…hire-sack-…..hire-sack. inter should hakt this f**k*** circle, we need long term coach
Its shame for every one who love Inter, for sure. for management too. Thohir hire him to be our head coach is for fighting in serie a. But we lose much. I Think now the order of Inter is in Sunning hands. Thohir must sink his choice goes wrong. Inter can’t give more time to De Boer, everything in club is mess up, the players agains him, media too.
So when Mancini managed 4th with a poorer squad, it was all his fault. Now Inter are 12th having spent 100m and its not FDB’s fault, its the managements fault! ..and we are bringing in an “experienced Italian’. We had an experienced Italian but people on here want him out and FDB in. I said end of October, sorry the sacking was a day late. Lets call a spade a spade, FDB isnt half the coach Mancini is. Dutch titles my arse.
Although Mancio was the most stubborn man alive, we were too harsh on Mancio
But isnt being stubborn to be admired in a football manager, SAF as an example?
I don’t consider SAF as a stubborn
Mancini left because Suning had a different project in mind to what the manager did. They didnt want to invest in older players whereas Mancini did. It was Mancini’s decision as much as the clubs. You make it seem like deBoer had something to do with Mancini leaving, the two are mutually exclusive.
If you read my post, I never said there was a link except FDB replaced him. What I said was that the guys on here were baying for RM to be replaced by FDB and they got what they wanted, 4th place to 12th is the result.
Shut up sam olsen all you do is come on here and argue with inter supporters if inter ultras see you we will kick your swedish arse your no inter fan your a juve fan in disguise stop dis respecting our inter brothers u dog
I didn’t regret a bit about Mancini sacking.
He was asking for longer contract, expensive signings and pay raise although he didn’t reach the target previous season. He didn’t prepare the team properly during preseason as well ….
I didnt either but I enjoyed some of last season, only around 15 minutes of this one so far.
Don’t worry about sam olsen he’s a fake inter milan supporter who never goes near the san siro cause if he did he would get crushed
Mancini deserved to be sacked he sucked. He was a good short term solution but not long term.
Yes and FDB has shown that a couple of years being humiliated in Seria B would be a great long term plan. Mancini won trophys with Inter, and actually he won them everywhere he went. Yes, trophys, big shiny things, other clubs have won in the pas 5 years, some even managed by Mancini. Now no decent manager will look at Inter.
And why you talking bullshits? Do you remember Mancini’s first 2-3 months? Should we sacking him at that time? Do you remember where we finished after his first season, despite that management provides him three serious reinforcements that he chooses through the winter brake and he had enough time to prepare the team?
I remember 2004 – 2008, do you? If 100m were spent to reinforce a Mancini team, we would not be 12th. In fact if 100m was spent to reinforce any side in Seria A, they would be higher than 12th. Do you remember FDB excuses from the last 2 months..I liked what I saw etc….while being hammered by Calgari at SS as I predicted we would be back in August. If you guys dont stop you will be demanding FBD be rehired before Xmas. He may be ok for Watford or Southampton but not Inter.
Don’t mind him brother. He was a child on that cherish period
Good luck to you FDB! I hope you learned from your mistakes.
the only good thing about fdb though ,,is that he gained 15 points out of 11 matches…
remember even if your team doesn’t lose , and draw 11 times, you still won’t reach 15 points
overall i would rate him 5.5/10
2 out of 10 for de boer terrible
I would say 3 outa 10 he was so bad didn’t no jack shit about Italian football neither he studied it or tried
Zero again..
Shame but very needed and maybe even late..
That’s what u get with bad management..
How psg or city managed to get on top by investors and inter not?
Maybe time is needed but the way this season is getting ruined how u expect big names to come?
PsG and City have competent management. Inter does not. Inter’s management is the reason for this mess we are in. Having money doesn’t help if you can’t make smart decisions.
Please stop blaming the management and look at de boer and the players who are payed extraordinary large sums of money to do something they love doing play football and win and regardless the owners mistakes the coach and players need to wake up and show some enthusiasm
Joke of a once great team…thats Inter.
Actually we have a joke of a management that wants to top the league with a coach that came in the beginning of the season and coached for 2 and a half months.
FD don’t ever fucking come back dickhead.
maaaaan….plz …respect him…he really did what he has to do..it was out of his hands..
let’s stop insulting him now at least
he got payed 100 times more than me an you get at our jobs and did nothing
C’mon….. his gone already,
Why don’t we just wish him the best or thanks him at least
we are gonna go outa Europe because of him, man I love EL he ruined it fuck this mother fucker
Mate he came he lost and he went. With this squad we should not be getting beaten easily. We r inter and the owners have bought excellent players he hasn’t got what it takes. enough said
all of you guys are crying now from sadness ..i’m sure 😀
Mixed feelings…
Good luck with whatever you’re going to do in the future De boer.
its alwayd like that, he was our coach, but we goto do what we gota do, 3 losses in a row and every win lucky with icardi magic and goal difference of one in our wins, something was wrong
