Inter’s Chinese ownership will come to Milan this weekend in order to be part of the decision making for the new coach replacing Frank De Boer. The Italian soul of the club (Gardini, Ausilio and Zanetti) is pushing for an Italian profile with Stefano Pioli in pole position. Suning Group however also has eyes on a foreign option such as Hiddink, Martino, Marcelino, Villas-Boas, Blanc and Leonardo. This reported from Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

He would be a weird pick tbh, highlight of his entire coaching career was 3rd place with Lazio… Other than that he has done absolutely nothing.

Have a feeling Pioli will be good for any normal Italian teams, but this is Inter and everything will be harder and more complicated.

Surprised there’s no Andrea Mandorlini name on the list. He is available and know Serie A well, also he is well known Interista. I think our GM Giovanni Gardini know him well.
Leonardo is interesting option too, with his high percentage of win ratio last time he was here, he could be very good option. Despite it is been a while he manage a team since then.

Im sick and tired of the “year zero” crap, and if we get someone in now who’s job it is to take acre of the team until june and then wait for a new big-name coach to come in, we´ll have another “year zero” ahead of us in the summer, where the new coach (talks about Simeone) would need time to make his team gel and for his ideas to catch on!
I would like us to show we haven’t given up on this season yet and that we have a serious idea on how to run a club but getting in a quality coach NOW, someone with a name and let him work with the squad for the rest of the season and his ideas. Let him buy the players HE needs in January and next summer so that next season everything is ready for him and his new squad!!

If you sack De Boer than at least bring in some heavyweight such as Blanc. But he is also a non-Italian. Maybe they prefer an Italian coach.
Blanc doesn’t have experience in Série A and he really didn’t impress much with a studded squad in PSG
Blanc is ex inter player. He knows Serie A. Besides he did not bad at PSG he won the league three times I think. Only in CL was bit off by reaching Quarter final which is not a shame with teams like Barca, Bayern and Real.

I don’t know why people like Pioli so much. His first year at Lazio was good but his second was terrible. And he had a terrible relationship with Candreva.
My preferred choice is Blanc. Former Inter player, good coach, his teams have balance between defence and attack and he knows how to handle dressing room. He didn’t have any issues with much bigger egos in PSG so i doubt he would have in here. I don’t think we can find someone better right now.
Hiddink could be a short term solution but a risk. Villas Boas failed at both Chelsea and Tottenham after spending huge amounts of money so i doubt he would succeed in here.
And Leonardo isn’t even a coach.

I don’t know why people are so optimistic abou Simeone coming to Inter in 2017. He has a contract with Atletico until 2018. I would be ok with a caretaker only if Zanetti has already in his hands a contract signed by Simeone for 2017.
you skipped to mention villa boas did good before Chelsea and spurs and after it in Russia, you only mentioned the negative parts about him, he is much older and much more experienced now , but blanc is the best coach for us now however it makes someone coming to us harder
Most coaches succeed at Porto. It has to do with the club, not with the coaches. And Russian League is much weaker than Serie A.
