This afternoon, emissaries from Suning Group together with Ausilio and Gradini will meet the candidates. Still in the race are Hiddink and Marco Silva.
Call it what you want, casting or job interview. The candidates for the position recently held by Frank De Boer are now known. And that’s why the men, sent by owner Zhang Jindong, will join Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Chief Football Administrator Giovanni Gardini for consultations. Pioli, Marcelino, Pereira and Guidolin will arrive in Milan today, they are the most probable names to take over from FDB. In addition there are also Gus Hiddink (already contacted by phone) and Marco Silva, both not out of the race. It still remains to understand what kind of path the club wants to take, there is one group that wants the “safer” choice of an Italian and another group that is looking for a sharper, more “risky” move.

CM is reporting that marcelino is in a meeting with our owners.
lets look at it this way, marcelino and pioli brought their team to UCL;clashed with their star player;got fired
but pioli has serie a experience…marcelino doesnt, however suning seem to like marcelino more
i dont f u c k i n get ir!!!
hmm he had his meeting last night, Pioli seems to be out of the pic. The owners are in talks with ZOLA now! It is belied to be a Zola/Marcelino combination with Marci as our head coach and Zola as the Italian, “big name” coach Ausillio and Co wanted. He will be Marci´s assistant it seems… and Marcelino has been offered a long contract, until 2019… if all rumurs are correct that is 😉
I’d rather Materazzi over shit Zola!
Just like I said 2 days ago; we are probably given the job to Marcelino. Why did I say that, because I learned back then that his agent is Kia Joorabchidan how is working as a advisory for Suning and told the club to invest in J.Mario and also wants us to by the young Swedish defender from Portugal…
it seems like itøll be a Marcelino/Zola combination!
what an odd situation here at inter T_T
Marcelino will most likely be our new coach, that’s what the rumors are.
GdS: Casting today for new coach. Guidolin, Marcelino, Pioli and Pereira in Milan.

BAD NEWS ABOUT INTER POLITICS regarding beahiour towards inter coaches has spread like fire.
NOT A SINGLE SERIOUS TRAINER WANTS TO COME TO INTER !!!
just look at the list; all noname coaches who want to profit for themselves and to have in their portfolio fact that they were coaching inter. .
inter is a read book by reputable coaches, THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE HUMILIATED AFTER A FEW MONTHS in inter.
now each of good coaches knows that inter is not a serious club, that there is not whatsoever project in inter, that inter has no respect for anyone.
Ok, what Top coach do you propose that isn’t currently tied down to a club? Are you aware that it is mid season?
I am aware. are you aware that inter has gained a bad reputation in football world ??
Sure we have, I’m not denying that, but it’s the Italian League that has acquired a bad reputation for not being patient with coaches and absurd expectations. That and the Ultras are a big problem. But again, who do you propose who isn’t a no name coach, that we can presently hire?
poida,
I cannot answer, I didn’t “investigate that” since ausilio takes money for that … in summer I was talking about taking joachim loew thinking that he could end his work in german national team and perhaps bring some systematic work and way of thinking in chaotic inter mentality.
in such a situation inter should support inner coach who knows the club… vecchi was very right when he said that players had no selfconfidence at all,… how could they have with all those bad results ?!?!
for now, I’d go on with vecchi. why to force with some temporary coaches they mention as candidates. they have NO CHANCE TO SUCCEED in inter.
I’m honestly starting to lose hope on this club. There is a bidding war happening on Coutinho between PSG and Barcelona. Liverpool is asking for 75 Million Euros! Shaqiri is starring in the English Premier League. English clubs are asking for the services of Duncan. A lot of our future stars that we sold for peanuts are starring for their clubs, and unfortunately we only kept our rotten ones!
but we had moratti, branca, ausilio, great false idol-players who controlled the situation in locker room and didn’t want to support at the pitch their team mates to succeed in inter. later the “great star cambiasso” the boss of the team and moratti’s favorite pussy ended in fringe european clubs, not a single really great club asked for him, and those you named will end up in best EU clubs.
Cambiasso was the best dmf in the world for a good 8 years… shame how thohir kicked him out because he was a fave of Moratti…
Forget coutinho, forget fat Shaw. That isn’t really our problem.
Our problem is purely management, we need to do like Bayern and include our legends. Keep baresi, bring in bergomi, bring Leo as director of sport. Only once we build a sturdy foundation in management will we be able to succeed.
We badly miss Oriali.
Im tired of these foreign jerk offs trying to copy young teams like Arsenal, arsenal never won anything… the Milan teams have always been successful with older players because experience wins you trophies. Our champions league squad was one of the oldest avg age in the comp that year. (And look at the Bilan and Chelsea teams that won in the past decade, all older)
I agree with you that we have tons to change in inter, not only on pitch, but in general approach, organisation of the club, school of football, youth sector, …
Don’t forget Leonardo Bonucci.
well then goodbye. It’s not our (not to mention you) first era, we used to sold Carlos, Ronaldo, Keane, and many promising talent. But we can overcame that.
to be honesty honest and logically unbiased , ranieiri did way better than frank the poor!
fuck it…bring our mancini back again…we want consistency from inter
No to Mancini, bad tactics
ok then , stick to verchi or whoever replace him
If Hiddink is available and willing to, why bother to consider those names above…..SIGH…..
yep he’s the best choice available he can make shitty chelsea players to play as footballer again, but he didn’t want to be caretaker he wants 2 years contract.
Will be worth it anyway i think. Other coach would only last until January anyway :D.
not bad at all but suning wants simeone in 2017, i read some articles stated that our coach will be marcelino from villareal he will play 4-4-2 (maybe suning preparing for simeone’s formation) just like his villareal. i don’t know if he can success in serie a but he succed to make second division team like villareal as top 5 teams in la liga.
Yeah read that. Let’s just hope for stability and integrity from the players.
i hope so
his condition is TO WORK AT LEAAST 18 months in inter, he is not an idiot, he learned from fdb’s destiny… or to be toilete paper befor godot-simeone comes. do you think he easn’t talking to fdb about inter situation.
sunning own inter, why is thohir in the equation he is minority share holder and president, zanetti needs to become president, just follow bayern muniche management set up, im sure the ex inter player would happy to help inter management out
I believe Thohir prepared Zanetti as his successor.
I’m not sure about Suning though, they seem to prefer Moratti to replace Thohir.
German clubs are set-up in a completely different way, that’s why you have a lot of ex-players on the board of directors
Keep Vecchi, i think Pioli or Guidolin or Pereira can’t offer much more than him. He knows the club, the players. Because he is from Primavera, he will give chances to young like Barbosa and Miangue. Maybe Marcelino is good choice, but if the team prefer Italian coach, so keep Vecchi, at least for few games more.
at least we must see him with the full squad, whith Southapton we were force to play in midfield with Medel, Gnoukouri and Melo
Castings? I can’t wait to see the photos from the bikini contest round. 🙂
I wont, man with bikini?lol
If you don’t wanna look at aging, balding, chubby white men prancing around in skimpy bikini, then there’s definitely something wrong with you.
Hahhahaha! @disqus_dpKCR8p7k9:disqus that was hilarious.
We have been coached by Ranieri, Gasperini, Strama, Mazzarri and Mancio.
I dont want to sound too negative, but I don’t see what Italian managers (Pioli, Guidolin) bring here. They even have less impressive CV
Don’t worry, Marcelino will be our next coach. He is the favourite now.
we need a coach that allow us at least to reach EL next year- meaning we have to aim Tim cup- or reach 5th place- Then we might negociate with ” EL Cholo” and begin a new solid project-
I’ve heard that el cholo met mr. godot on his way to inter …
they say they are soon coming together …
we haven’t heard a single word about the whole situation with FDB from highly ranked inter person … zanetti. how come when he used to be so eloquent in defending mancini’s project ?!?!
it makes me think that he is glad FDB finished his coaching in inter to prove he was right with his beloved mancio…. NOzanetti !
—-
he also “has no opinion” about “present inter project”, future inter plans, strategy etc.
he is just sitting there and receiving money for doing nothing useful and … smiling to moratti, indonesian, chinese or whoever the next boss comes.
what is your purpose in inter, dear “legend” … there is no purpose !!
just an empty and selfish shell.
You’re yapping like a butt-hurt bitch. SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!
elmo,
simply to put so that you can understand; YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT ! give your ass to that gibbering, brainless running moron, your “legend”, you moron !!
————————————–
when can we expect that your beloved moron is going to tell fans how he sees the future of the club he represents, I mean he should know something about it and take care about fans and their
The fuck is wrong with you pal? insulting your own legend and whining like a little bitch, are you even an inter fan?
are they better than vecchi and why ?
who can guarentee that they are ?
it is just guessing, strolling blind inter excutives in the dark … horror inter story..
inter has become a new measure for mess and chaos !
just look at that narcistic, stypid and ugly face of that idiot ausilio.
that moron with two left legs, “has no idea” that
HE IS A PART OF THE PROBLEM IN INTER, and not
the solution for the problem !
inter has said goodbye to logic …
ausilio is the king of stupidity and incompetence.
——–
hmm, who was the guy named … oriali ??
If we have to go the route of italian mediocrity, then surely i’d rather take take Guidolin than Piolo. Despite him flopping at swansea recently, he has far more serie a experience than Piolo and doesnt seem quite as uncharismatic.
Piolo will only add to the player depression.
why u call it “Italian mediocrity”? cause we are Inter… so everyone should be from another country?— the way I see it, Rube, Rome, Nap & Fiore all got Italian coaches and things are going well with them- like 10 years ago Mancio brought our team back (he just failed recently) but that doesn’t under estimate an Italian coach-
I call it italian mediocrity because the italian names we are linked with are mediocre coaches? I thought that was obvious.
Thats not underestimating anyone, thats just fact.
We had more experienced Italian coaches this past 6 years (Ranieri, Mazzari and Mancini) and it didnt work out.
We also have Strama and Gasperini, so we hire more Italian coaches post Mourinho era.
Didnt change the fact that we failed
you forgot our first thropy after almost 2 decades of zero titles were from italian coach(mancini)!? so nothing wrong with italian coach.. the problem is, whether our management will give them full support by signing the player that they need not the player that the owner like..
I’m referring to the fact that we need coach with better CV not just Italian coach,
at the moment who is available!?
Compared to Pioli and Guidolin, Pereira has better CV though he managed In weaker leagues (Portugal, Greece and Turkey).
Hiddink definitely has good CV, but he is too old, and his best years are behind him.
to me none of them are good enough but hiddink would be interesting.. but i will wait and see who would be our coach.. i don’t care who would be our coach, as long as we can save this season..
based on his experience hiddink is interesting choice but don’t understimate marcelino he bring vilareal from 2nd division to top 5 team in la liga a league that he faced atleti, real, sevilla, barca and valencia. and ez i always think that you’re a dude smh.
hiddink have many experience become a caretaker, and most of them are a succesful one.. that’s why i think it’s interesting.. but marcelino not really bad as well considering his time with villareal.. all in all i hope we can safe this season..^^
agree, that man can turns hopeless chelsea into football team again and even south korea win some important matches in wc 02
Morati
LMAO…XD
True, but I thought Guidolin had health issues and it was part of his sacking. His Udinese used to play entertaining football but I believe he used 3-5-2 with good wingbacks (Asamoah and Widmer). He did okay in Europe too given that it’s Udinese.
mandorlini isn’t that bad tho his days at hellas with toni in it kinda made trouble for some teams
from many sources marceliono is the favourite ahead pioli as our coach, i think he’s not bad after what he did to villareal they’re in division 2 and last season they’re in 4th
Agree with you 100%. He reminds me of Simeone with his style. 4-4-2 with compact defending and lightning fast counters. His tactics are very well suited for Serie A unlike FDB. There is huge split within the club. Suning cut out Ausilio, Zanetti, Gardini, Thohir and Bolingbroke from the coaching casting. They are now only consulting with Kia who is pushing for Marcelino. I guess the Chinese are pissed!
yeah and his tactics are more defensive than fdb’s, this is really hard choice for the management but based on cv’s and tactics marcelino is the winner here, he managed villareal to 4th in league that his team plays withh real, atleti, barca, sevilla and valencia. the only problem is he never coached serie a before beside that pioli somehow managed lazio to EL and he knows serie a and it’s enviroment. honestly i don’t know what is kia guy job’s in inter whether he’s consultant or advisor or just agent.
He is a consultant for Suning. Am not convinced about Pioli.
What a hilarious drama, come on just choose a coach so that he can start coaching the team already, this management is as slow as the turtles can run, or is the catastrophe is amusement for them.
Ausilio, forget about buying a new player in winter market but focus on selling the deadwoods..if you fail and you’re deserved to be sacked..they are the reason our dress room always got into trouble
You think selling players is simple as that, the real question is who wants to buy those deadwoods? Be realistic please this isn’t video games
Whoever the coach is, please stick with him for the rest of season.
Whoever the coach is , must better than FDB
mmhh…actually must be better than Leonardo, Gasperini, Ranieri, Stramaccioni, Mazzarri, Mancini, and De Boer 🙂 🙂 🙂
I know many will disagree but from what I have noticed is that Clubs rise due to forward thinking management and a good scouting system and over the years I have noticed that both are doing their job in negative. Take Saints as an example who was in ligue 1 6 years ago and Inter won everything that year and see where they are now. Just look at their management of scouting teams. youth academy and even coach selection (dutch coach koeman at the time).
Now name me any youth player at Inter(recent years) that had smooth transition from youth team to first beside struggling and eventually shipped out for peanuts.
Pioli, Marcelino, Pereira and Guidolin etc will not solve this mess and I believe this season is gone for good. Now my humble advice to sunning is sack scouting team along with those responsible for team decisions(staff and management). One thing more that Zanetti the legend who I have ton of respect for but so far he did nothing positive as VP and that is because he was directly promoted from player to high seat of management with zero experience and no one to learn from. Again ammatur decision. Sorry for the long post and I respect those disagree with me.
Leonardo needs to be given the keys and set up a long term project. He is a fine director and has vision and a great network. He would choose a coach and bring in players. Honestly I don’t know what does sunning know about football to be doing interviews for a new coach !? What kind of questions will they ask !?!? Rumours about about Villas Boas make me wanna hit my head against the wall..
Leonardo as a part of the management team would make some sense. Villas-Boas has signed for Shanghai so you don’t have to worry, but he is a gifted tactician whos teams play on the attack, his defensive setup is a bit of a worry, though I wouldn’t have a problem with him at Inter. It’s rather unfortunate that the English media unfairly tarnished his reputation for his sackings
I really wish Leo joins part of our management and I will also poach some talented people from Sassuolo and clubs that have saw rapid increase in reputation . Enough with Bolingbroke(whatever his name) and thohir who dont know a thing about football. Also Sunning should avoid the Kia joorabchian guy , he cares about his clients and importantly money.
our youth team are excellent but our instant results vision dont have any place for them
these chinese see how pumping money bring success like chelsea in early 2000s
Not to be an asshole but league 1 and ligue 1 are completely diffrent league.
ligue 1 is in France
Yeh sorry about that. The names are very confusing.
I really hoped we gained some stability once Mancini was with us for 1.5 year but here we go again, same transition Inter we saw a few years ago. I’m not a Mancini absolute lover or something but parting ways with him 2 weeks before the season started was the stupidest thing we have done in a while.
add to that, sacking a coach who were promised to have time and long contracts to instill a new system, but we went back in just after 3 months. Well,
Google is paying 97$ per hour! Work for few hours and have longer with friends & family! !mj347d:

We’ll, when you lose half of your games, not draw them, but loses 7 out of 14 and find yourself in 11th in Serie a, then it’s out!
Add to this, he didn’t have a great relationship with his players which you could see in his farewell statement on twitter where he thanked the fans and…. no one else!!
Would you buy Toure to keep Mancini?
actually it’s more than toure.. toure can be replace by another players.. the problem was the management really want to sack him.. but they don’t have ball to do it.. they just try to find a reason to make him know that he was not for inter anymore..
I think it is actually the opposite, Thohir and the board try to reconsile the situation with Mancini, we all remember that they had a meeting two weeks before he left where they wanted him to stay. I think that Mancini wanted to leave ever since Suning took over because they wanted to buy young players and not Toure and other oldtimers like Mancini wanted. He wasn’t sacked in the end, he left in the agreement with the board.
Suning and Mancini had different visions on how Inter should build the team. Mancini knew that he would not have time to build a young team and wanted some more experience player to build around. Suning wanted young players and would not allow any older players.. Not only Yaya there was Diarra and Biglia .. Mancini got frustrated that he was the trainer and could not build the team as he wanted it.. And saw he could not continue the project Thohir and he had set up.. So he went the gentlemen agreement and left and did not wait to get sacked to earn money of Inter..
nah.. they never really try to reconcile… look at the term that they want mancini to agree, it’s really didn’t make sense.. the management already have different vision with mancini about how to build the team.. mancini want experience players to be the core of his team, because we already have young players in icardi, murillo, brozo and k-dog. sunning want to build arsenal style of inter so they can make profit like arsenal.. they just want to avoid the penalty for sacking mancini,, mutual agreement will avoid the club from paying the penalti for sacking him..
If you check the history actually Thohir always delay the firing.
He gave more time to Mazzari and de Boer. I assume the same thing with Mancini.
Mancini asked for more expensive signings + Toure. But above all he still wants to be manager, not just coach + new contract.
He was the most expensive manager in serie A.
New owner had enough of him.
thohir style of management is like a snail tbh.. and they never want to give him more time.. just like we can see, the new owner already have their own direction and different from mancini,,, so in june mancini want to meet with the decision maker, because he confused about who really in charge of the club.. but this shit being drag until august.. i think mancini even make himself clear before the meeting(june), if the club have different vision with him or don’t need him anymore, he will end their contract with mutual agreement so that the club don’t have to pay any penny for it.. that’s why i think it’s funny when the coach was more decisive than thohir the president.. in this case only management to blame..
Pretty sure Thohir’s idea was to extend Mancini only after he finishes his 3rd season, which is not wrong and without manager role.
just like i said, sunning have different vision and idea.. and mancini was not the coach that suit that vision.. after sunning take over, thohir work for sunning, that’s why mancini said he don’t know who is the decision maker anymore.. and mancini never demand manager role, he just want to be involve heavily in choosing the players he want and i think it’s still fair enough, afterall the coach is the one that use these players right!?.. and he never been a manager in inter..^^
call it dumb and dumber
Thank thohir and Bollingbrokeback!
Dont worry mate, these two won’t have mutch more influence anymore. The latter will be sacked any day. Thohir won’t have a say in decision of next coach.
