“I’ll have a lot of emotions.” So says Adriano, who will return to San Siro to watch tonight’s match between Inter and Lazio. During an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, he discussed a number of former and current players as well as his love for the Nerazzurri.
How do you envisage your return?
“I honestly do not know, but it is a return I really wanted. I will embrace many Nerazzurri friends.”
The team is struggling a little…
“Yes, but it is strong. Then I am convinced of one thing.”
Ok…
“Inter will strengthen. At the end of the season they will be in the Champions League places.”
And Gabigol?
“He must do as I did. Italy is not as easy as everyone thinks. You have to adapt to many things; the language, the climate, the physicality. Everything. But Gabi has the strength, and so much talent.”
How do you see your own future prospects?
“I have not set myself any immediate goals. One thing I want to emphasise is that, for me, football is not just a thing of the past.”
Which Brazilian talents does Adriano recommend?
“There are so many, but it is not in my character to pick out specific ones. I took the liberty of advising Inter to sign Júlio César and Maicon. I got lucky. I’ll see you in San Siro tonight. Forza Inter, sempre.”

He was a reason I started supporting Inter. Now.. I hate Adriano for wasting his career, but love for Inter remained and is still strong.
“He must do as I did”
LMAO, please dont.
I thought the same lol! But he means he should more patience and maybe accept a loan to a mid-table Italian team if there is any.
If only you kept your head straight, Messi and CR7 would kiss your shoes today.
Adriano’s story should be taught to our kids to remind them that talents are not enough to win this life. Success requires sweats, focus, discipline and lucks.
I remember his roulette move against Messina, and then a killer shot, boom!
I used to shoot from outside penalty box when using Adriano in Pro Evo Soccer
that 2goals against udinese,a solo run and a curling freekick
that 360 turn against valencia
that goal against perugia
My favourite Adriano goal by far was not a great one actually, it was the 3-2 winner over Milan in the derby in overtime where he beat traitor vieri to the header.
viewing this, makes me remember how joyful it was when martins scored a goal :))

Adriano would never have been as good as good as those two or even Zlatan. He was too limited to his left foot for that.
He could have been a top10 player of his generation though, shame it didnt go that way.
oh my oh my adriano the emperor of milano you went to the top and back to the bottom at inter and as they say the bad teaches more than the good perhaps you are in pole position to give advice to gabigol if this is true you have finally fullfilled your destiney then u may RIP
Remember that he changed once his father died. He couldn’t handle the situation
I remember that being said
I also remember that adriano started the form drop and the nighlife bulshit long before his father died
brazilians love milano’s nightlife.look at dinho and pato when they were in bilan.
yes thats why my father death affected me is total BS
So sad that this guy has become a mascot for a gang in the favelas for protection
IMO, he’s the only one who can rival Zlatan. Too bad depression got him.
