Such a true statement… When we have players like Icardi heading balls out of our box in defense it shows such a team mentality. Defend together. And if we lose and it’s the defense to blame then it’s not 4 or 5 people. It’s the entire team.

No it can’t.. it was balanced under Mancini and was one of the best defense in Serie A.. Folks seems too forget things so easy!

I advice you to watch the games we played when we had Mancini again.
Well I saw almost every game with Inter last year so I know what I saw, I know witch players that often was playing, I know that Inter missed creativity and I know Inter didn’t play with 9 defensive players!
And that’s a really bad argument because most folks in here probably looks on so many games they can, even you!
But if your really think it was 9 defensive players I advice you too get information and observ the players more!
Mancini’s system and philosophy of play is very defensive minded. It doesn’t matter if one or few players are considered offensive on paper, but how the coach use his players on the pitch and what kind of tasks he give them. To be very offensive or defensive it’s doesn’t give balance and you can see in the way we played and the results we had in the second part of the last season! It’s ignorance to deny, that we played ugly, defensive minded through the whole last season, even in the first half, when we had several lucky 1-0 wins!
I know he put the defense first.. And yes it’s hang on little how you use the players but the balance was as good as it could with the team he had and it is just ingnorace too too scuff all the blame on Mancini! He took over a really bad shaped Inter and started too pull the strings too gether.. The balance between middfield and defense was ok. There were player that learns too protect the CB, the wingers learned too help the fullbacks! But the balance between forward and middfield was not that great and as we know Inter missed a creativity midfielder too link that!
And it is true Inter had some luck and some bad luck but no one wins with out luck! And there were games Inter played really ugly, never denied it! But do you have too play beautiful too win? No, Inter didn’t win treble with beautiful play,Chealse didn’t win CL and the league with beautiful play, City didn’t win the league with beautiful play, Atletico Madrid didn’t win the league with beautiful play!
it doesn’t matter how it looks 3 point is 3 point! How beutifull did Inter play today? How good balance was it between the dafence and midfielder? Almost non! Inter were lucky Murillo and Miranda was on there toes!
I guess the main topic here is about the unbalance team, and by saying inter playing really bad in the last season that’s mean inter were unbalanced too in mancini’s time, with no regard about playing beautiful or the points collected.
