Gary Medel made a complete practice session yesterday and may now be considered as fully recuperated from his injury from last year’s derby against Milan. This according to Gazzetta dello Sport who writes: “The Chilean who has been out of the squad since November 20th and had surgery on his meniscus four days later in Barcelona, will be available for Saturday’s game against Chievo. It will be difficult though for Stefano Pioli to start Medel, instead we are probably talking about coming on as a substitute. In next Tuesday’s Coppa Italia game against Bologna we are more likely to see him from start though. His comeback is important for Inter because of Brozovic’s suspension but also because Pioli considers him to be one of the defenders both in a three-man and a four-man defence.”
