Stefano Pioli will most likely give new arrival Roberto Gagliardini the chance tonight against Chievo Verona. A 4-2-3-1 formation was used during practice yesterday with Ever Banega both in and out of the starting eleven. As it seems now, Joao Mario is in pole position and Banega will start as a substitute. In defence there is still some doubt whether or not Medel will start. As wingers we have D’Ambrosio and Ansaldi at the back and Candreva and Perisic in the offense. Today we will find out if Carizzo (down with a cold) is back in the squad, for now Di Gregorio (class of ’97) has his place. Handanovic also has a cold (without any fever though) that, should it get worse, could leave him out of the starting eleven.
