According to reports in Greece, Kostas Manolas is a mere step away from signing for Inter.
It has been suggested that a deal could be closed with Roma for a fee in the region of €42m.
La Gazzetta dello Sport agree that the Nerazzurri are interested in the Giallorossi defender, but insist that no formal negotiations have yet taken place between the two clubs.

I’m OK if he will become our next Samuel 🙂
but I’m worried he will become our next Burdisso 🙁
Idk why everyone is against this transfer?
Manolas is a beast. Roma’s stellar defence record this season owes itself largely to him.
Weakening a rival while strengthening ourselves this is how Bayern and juve have dominated
he’s pretty underrated
fuck off frog
i’m a big fan of improving ur squad while weakening the rivals but for that price, we can buy better and younger players like Laporte, Geminez and Marquinhos. or even put our trust in murillo and just spend that money or fullbacks. i’m 100% against this transfer.
I know what you mean but i am sorry bro .. I am all in for Manolas he is a proven CB , has Serie a experience and he is young .
I think with suning being our owners we don’t have to worry that much about money like before ..
42 mil for Manolas+ 25 mil for Ricardo rodriguez + a proven RB would worth like 20 mil all of that would cost us 87 mil and i am sure we would still have more money to buy another player for another position
bro we are giving 40m to our direct rivals…… thats a no no. where we can have far better and younger options for the same price.
Take Juve merda as an example ..
Every single season they spend millions and millions on their rivals and they take their precious starting 11 players.
And still they manage to win the league and cup each season.
Trust me bro we are inter we shouldn’t care if our money is going to our rivals or not we must focus on our team and get it strong without looking at others
FORZA INTER
there is a difference here. we’re getting robbed out of 40m.
dude, suning is rich and they’re from china 40 mil is nothing
idk if we spend 200m on a player. the problem is that we giving away 42m to our direct rivals, when we can spend that money on a player outside serie a
i think it’s okay they can’t get better players for 40millions
also, in terms of defenders, not being in the same league is irrelevant. a good defender can slot right in to the team.
psg doesn’t need money and they don’t want to sell marquinhos, and 42 millions is fair price for football nowadays
not when its for ur direct rival.
Look at it this way, Roma WILL get their 40 million from the sale of Manolas regardless if they sell him to us or other clubs. Roma will have 40 million extra to strengthen their squad next season, whether you like it or not. So, if Roma will get the money either way, let’s make sure that we get the service of Manolas in the process.
