He will encounter the same exact issues as Banega does in Serie A, but especially at Inter. Look at our entire midfield besides Ever.. Perisic, Candreva, Joao Mario, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Kondogbia.. all work horses! We need a trequartista with the speed and stamina to keep up with the rest of our midfield, and still have the ability to slow the game down when necessary.

I don’t see there are big differences about the two with our wingers. Sanchez wasn’t a good goalie when playing winger, while we have icardi up front. Berardi? I dont see something better than candreva, except his age. Cmiiw.
Sanchez scored 14 and assisted 8 this season from the left wing. While Berardi is left footed and has a lot of creativity while Candreva is very 1 dimensional and tries the same thing till it succeeds (go to the wing and dribble back and cross the ball as much as you can till someone scores)…. It’s different
Don’t talk more, especially Perisic except when he gets in scoring positions is pretty much useless the whole time.
He’s a great player but just not fit for the Italian game, he would blossom in England though, the way they play there, without any defense practically. All those chances to sprint to the goal, he would outrun so many big names but in Italy he’s just so predictable.
He offers only the crosses and hardly ever gets himself in the position to shoot. Candreva is not the best but he’s a bit better.
He has one or two tricks more than Perisic. Perisic only does the bicycle, sprints and crosses. That has been his history since he came to us.
Having the likes of Sanchez and Berardi would make us unpredictable because they can either assist, drible, shoot, they can basically do everything.
Right now the team is playing for Icardi and that is not a good thing because when Icardi is not in his best day we suffer, just like we did the last game.
If we had more versatile wingers, the whole team would benefit from it.

I was not saying he’s not good. He’s helping the team but a more versatile winger would have helped us even more.
You can be a Perisic fan but it is what it is man. He doesn’t have the required skill set to hurt teams here in Italy because each team sits in defense, even the big ones.
He would have been so much better in England where they play fast football and there are so many counter attacks. Perisic would shine there for sure !

Bicycle, sprint, cross. He finds himself very good before the goal though. If he didn’t have that he would be completely useless for us.
The point is that defenders can defend him really easy when he doesn’t have enough space to run. There are better players who can make things happen in tight areas.
He’s my favorite player, because he’s one of the 5 best wingers of the world right now! An exceptional player, who can score with his two feet and head at clutch moments of any game!

Perisic is just 28 y.o and get his prime, it is not wise enough to transfer out him now. But ausillio knows most his strategy.
I want to keep Perisic too. But switch him to the right side where he can do different things and be more comfortable on his preferred left foot.
