Jeison Murillo is set to start against Roma on Sunday night, having been cleared of any muscular injuries.
As Miranda is due to serve a suspension, the Colombian’s recovery is most welcome ahead of a crucial encounter with the Giallorossi.
Murillo will therefore be fit to partner Gary Medel in the centre of what is likely to be a back four.
Meanwhile, Danilo D’Ambrosio will cover the right flank while Yuto Nagatomo will replace Cristian Ansaldi on the left due to concerns over the Argentine’s ability to deal with Mohamed Salah’s pace.
