I like these kind of players that is young, talented, has a big name and is able to play in different positions but I agree with Azzkikr.. we don’t use any trequartista, we play with attacking midfielder.(especially with Pioli’s tactics). And we really need more players in the midfield if we are going to play in Europe next season.
He would be a strange signing. Inter doesnt really play with a traditional nr.10, we need all 3 midfielders to help out in defense. James cant defend at all.
Meanwhile he can also play on the right side, but we already have candreva with Gabigol as backup there.
If anything the focus in attack should be on a left sided player, in case Perisic decides to leave, but also just for competition on the left flank, we all know Eder isnt good enough and should leave the summer.
Eder is a nice forward sub.. we need players who can play on the left tho

they do not rule one another out! Alexis Sanhes is more a second striker where as James is an attacking midfielder! Both would be perfect in a 4-2-3-1 system with Icardi and maybe Barnardescchi/Perisic too!
To get both alexis and james in one transfer market is just insane. I hope it materializes though
