Corriere dello Sport have taken a look at Mauro Icardi‘s career. They recall how Mauro Icardi and Ishak Belfodil arrived at Inter at the same time and it was the Algerian forward who was expected to go far, rather than Icardi. Belfodil was earning 200,000 more than the Argentine who was earning 800,000. A few years down the line however, it is Icardi who is at the top, now earning 4.5 million a year with the captain’s armband on his arm while Belfodil is with Standard Liege after a number of unsuccessful spells since his release after just one year at the Nerazzurri.

I strongly believe that Mazzari ruined his career, he barely played 2 games the whole season, considering lord Nagatomo and many other lords have played much more with us. It was pretty unfair the treatment he got from Mazzari !
He had potential and he was far worse btw, he was playing for an arabian club actually after he left from Italy.
Where is that Algerian fan to defend Belfodil and Taider? Man, I understand his nationalism but if you are a REAL fan, you want the best for Inter. I support national teams in the World Cup based on their number of Inter players..
He is talented and has good feet. Something is wrong in his head however..
