Inter could be set to raid Roma this summer for two of their most talented and valuable players, as Suning seek to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s squad ahead of next season.
Kostas Manolas has been identified as the perfect signing to reinforce the defence, and personal terms are thought to be agreed in principle with the Greek centre-back. Meanwhile, midfielder Radja Nainggolan will be a much more complex pursuit, as he and his family are said to be happy to remain in the capital.
However, the Nerazzurri ownership will try to convince the Belgian that their project is one of the most important in world football, with the potential to win trophies in the immediate future.
Providing Inter meet Roma’s asking price, the signing of Manolas is a mere formality, while Nainggolan will be a much tougher nut to crack.

mmm this is just too good- Radja is the most complete midfielder in the world, Kante is similar to him but Radja has more quality- Conte knows this and wanted desperately to have him in Chelsea, but well…. At inter he will be playing for a great club with a serious project so he will worth the investment- Manolas hopefully we could get him meaning we may try for Florenzi as well-

Am I the only one wondering if Manolas is being deliberately used as a shield by Roma to stop people looking too closely at their other players? Rudiger for example is slightly younger, less talked about (ergo no bidding war), just as familiar with Serie A and pretty decent too… He s also a part of the German national side and therefore surrounded by world class players regularly. odds are bits rub off on him.
Also, if we want a really good right back that is probably the position we should scout really hard before the season’s end. Reason? Lahm is retiring this summer which means Bayern will be in the market for a world class right back. It is literally the only position they need to fill in their squad so you can bet they’re looking into all the options. We need to be fast and not miss out on someone like Sidibe simply because we arrive at negotiations too late
