Stefano Pioli spoke in the conference room after Inter’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sampdoria at San Siro. Here is what the Nerazzurri boss had to say.

In the second half their seemed to be a different approach from Inter.

This time I couldn’t watch the game 🙁 but I can’t blame him, Brozo was a disaster conceding a Penalty and Icardi missed such a clear chance…. if he were Mancio we wouldn’t be in the position that we are right now- Sadly CL is really far far away—
This guy almost always fail when the pressure is on him. Even with Lazio in Cl playoff he was sent home packing with 3-1 aggregate against leverkusen and both of the games was terrible. He have some potential with tactics but most of the time big occasions get to him.
I agree, he just doesn’t seem like a coach for big clubs.. He lost every derby so far and now failed again against Torino and Samp when we could make a push for CL. There were many chances to get back into the fight for CL but we failed at every one of them. And now even Lazio and Atalanta are getting away and Milan is only one point behind us.
Pioli got some good results when we had already written off this season but when shit got real, he failed. The team failed. Like many times in past 6 years. I just don’t think that Pioli can change our loser mentality into a winning one.
I really like sunning project for not only wanting worldclass players but also worldclass manager. I dont remember any worldclass manager after Mou and most of the time if you want to create strong project then the manager should be involved and say no more to immature managers like stramochini or mazzari . Go straight for Simmone or if possible conte will work too.
Yep, Simeone or Conte would be a dream. But I think they will be unavailable this summer.
