Inter could block Juventus and AC Milan from moving for Lautaro Martinez with special clauses in the striker’s new contract, a report in the Italian media suggested today.
As per Tuttosport, Inter chief executive Beppe Marotta is studying the possibility of including such a clause to prevent either of them coming in for the 23-year-old striker.
Lautaro is reportedly close to signing a contract extension with Inter, who he is already under contract with until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Reports in the media today have stated that he will sign a new deal with the club that runs through to the end of the 2023-24 season, while others have suggested Lautaro’s current €111 million release clause will remain in the fresh contract.
This season the Argentine national team striker has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
