There are a number of factors which will determine Arturo Vidal’s future with Inter, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s online edition, the corporate issues that Inter are currently going through and Inter coach Antonio Conte’s future will be pivotal in deciding Vidal’s future at the club.

If Conte stays, the chances of Vidal staying at Inter will increase, given how insistent Conte was on getting him in from Barcelona, while it is unknown what another coach would think of the Chilean international.

Vidal currently earns €6.5 million net a year, which is a lot, especially for a 33-year-old and given the number of alternatives and quality in midfield, Inter could possibly do without Vidal.

It now remains to be seen what will happen with the former Bayern Munich player, who is contracted to the club until the end of next season.

This season Vidal has scored two goals and provided two assists in 26 games for Conte’s side.

He is facing a race against time to be fit for Sunday’s match at home to Lazio in Serie A, having picked up a knee injury during last Friday’s victory at Fiorentina.
