Inter centre-back Milan Skriniar is increasingly likely to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but the deal is not expected until the summer.
According to Italian television broadcaster Sport Mediaset, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, the Slovakia international has decided against penning an extension to his Nerazzurri contract, which is due to expire in June.
Instead, he will sign terms with PSG, and there is confidence in France that a verbal agreement has already been reached, with Skriniar set to earn €9 million per season, in addition to a €20m signing-on fee.
Whilst there has been speculation that the French club could push the move forward and try to buy Skriniar this month, rather than wait to sign him as a free agent, Sport Mediaset suggest that this is unlikely.
Inter would demand a transfer fee of at least €10m, whilst they would need to find a replacement before the transfer window closes at the end of the month, so are reluctant to sanction a sale.
Skriniar would also need to forego the signing-on bonus, with some of that put towards his transfer fee, and so it is believed that no move will take place until the end of the season.
