Nigerian international forward Ademola Lookman is reportedly pushing to leave Atalanta to join Inter Milan this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Lookman believes he has an implicit agreement with La Dea to depart this summer.

In the last couple days, a bombshell has emerged regarding Inter’s summer transfer plans.

Reportedly, the Nerazzurri have been in talks to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

Inter’s interest in the 27-year-old is more than just a passing interest. They have already worked things out with the player, who is keen to make the move.

Lookman himself has already agreed terms with Inter. The former RB Leipzig forward is ready to sign a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri worth around €4 million net per season.

And now, Lookman is determined to make the move.

Therefore, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27-year-old is putting pressure on his current club to facilitate the transfer to Inter.

Last summer, Atalanta refused to sell Lookman to Paris Saint-Germain. And the Nigerian accepted staying in Bergamo – but with a clear expectation this summer.

Lookman feels that Atalanta have promised to allow him to get his desired move this summer for a fee of less than €50 million.
