Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has reportedly agreed personal terms with runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
According to Spanish outlet Chiringuito via FCInterNews, the Argentine manager has struck a pre-contract agreement with the Nerazzurri.
Diego Simeone is the longest-serving manager in Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.
Indeed, the 55-year-old has been in charge of Los Colchoneros since 2011, leading the club to seven major trophies in Spain and Europe.
However, his adventure in Madrid could soon come to a halt.

Simeone’s contract at the Metropolitano Stadium runs out in 2027.
With Atletico Madrid staring down the barrel of another trophyless season, the former midfielder could be on his way out in the summer.
Meanwhile, Simeone spent two years at San Siro during his playing career, wearing Inter colors between 1997 and 1999.
Furthermore, he has never hidden his love for the club.
Now, he could return to his old stomping ground in a different capacity.
Even though Cristian Chivu is on the verge of winning the Scudetto in his first year at the helm, Simeone could soon replace him in the dugout.
