Inter Milan midfielder Petar Sucic will feature for Croatia in the upcoming international friendlies after receiving Zlatko Dalic’s call-up.

According to FCInterNews, the 22-year-old will be part of his national team for the exciting clashes against Brazil and Colombia.

Croatia have secured a fourth consecutive FIFA World Cup qualification and will seek another standout result in North America next summer.

Indeed, after a remarkable runner-up finish in 2018, the Blazers won the bronze medal in Qatar four years ago.

However, the key figures of those successes, such as Luka Modric, are either in the twilight of their careers or have already retired.

Inter Milan Star Petar Sucic Receives Croatia Call-Up

Petar Sucic has earned 13 senior caps for his national team.

Furthermore, he was one of Croatia’s most consistent players during the qualifying campaign, making six appearances in eight matches.

With that in mind, Dalic is likely to heavily rely on the Nerazzurri star in the highly anticipated tournament.

Meanwhile, Sucic will commence preparations for the World Cup later this month when the Blazers face Colombia in Orlando.

Moreover, Dalic’s side will also lock horns with Brazil at the beginning of April, with Sucic expected to play a prominent role in the middle of the park.
