Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly ready to cash in on Alessandro Bastoni amid speculation linking the Italian star with a move to Barcelona.

According to Spanish outlet Sport via FCInterNews, the 26-year-old’s summer exit has become a distinct possibility.

With Inter Milan preparing for a comprehensive squad overhaul, they must raise funds for summer reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni could fall victim to the club’s need to finance their upcoming rebuild.

Despite establishing himself as Inter’s defensive cornerstone, the former Atalanta man has recently gained notoriety in Serie A.

Indeed, his antics in February’s Derby d’Italia have turned him into one of the most unpopular figures in the country.

Inter Milan Open to Selling Barcelona Target Alessandro Bastoni

Marred by ongoing off-field turmoil, Bastoni is contemplating his future at San Siro.

On the other hand, La Liga pacesetters Barcelona have already identified him as their top target for the upcoming transfer window.

Furthermore, Los Blaugranas chief Deco has held exploratory talks with the player’s entourage to discuss a potential transfer.

Aware of Barcelona’s persistent interest, Inter are ready to offload their long-serving stalwart.

However, the Camp Nou outfit will reportedly have to fork out north of €70 million to convince the Nerazzurri to greenlight the move.
