This was a significant afternoon. During the meeting between Inter and Genoa several issues were discussed and some operations were completed. One of these was a very important one for Inter: Samuele Longo is now owned completely by Inter after the club bought out Genoa’s co-ownership of the player. An important affair for Inter, especially considering how the player exploded during the spring.

Juraj Kucka, who was previously co-owned by Inter and Genoa, is now owned solely by Genoa after Inter let go of their half of the player to get Longo.

For Mattia Destro, a possible agreement between the clubs has been delayed as the clubs cannot agree on how a deal should look like. Genoa would prefer to sell the player completely and have such a bid from Roma. Inter would prefer a partnership. The smiles from the presidents of the  two clubs, Moratti and Preziosi suggest that there is still time and the negotiations will continue.
