Lots of news about Forlan today…
Now it is the newspaper El Pais in Uruguay who, just like the other uruguayan newspaper Ovacion, reports that Diego Forlan will be signing for Brazilian club Internacional. The newspaper refers to the contents of a conversation that Forlan is said to have had with friends during which he reportedly said the following:
“I have made up my mind, I will be renting two apartments, one for me and another for you so that you can come and see me when I play at the Beira-Rio.”
Beira-Rio is the name of Sports Club Internacional’s stadium in Porto Alegre, a city located only an hour’s flight from Il Cacha’s hometown of Montevideo in Uruguay. El Pais reports, just like Ovacion, that Forlan will sign a two-year contract that will give him two million euros per season.
