Stramaccioni was interviewed by Sky after the match and was obviously disappointed with the result but still found some bright spots, such as Inter’s second half against a Lazio that is recognized as a strong team at home:
“Lazio were better in the first half.,We never managed to create any danger, but without conceding any scoring opportunities. But during the second half Inter made a good effort and deserved to take the lead, unfortunate situations happened and Klose is a world class player. Football is like this, we did not deserve to lose.”
Missing a regista? “There was something in the first half, not least because of Lazio. But in the second half we came back without having lost courage and as a great team. Unfortunate situations and some decisions had a negative effect: we are not strong enough in some situations, that’s all.”
