During yesterday’s dinner with an Inter club in Florence, where even Giacinto Facchetti’s son Gianfelice was present, Massimo Moratti discussed many issues, including his new role in the club after Thohir’s arrival and some former Inter players.
BALOTELLI – “I like to mention Mario, I had a special relationship with, because he grew up with us and accomplished great things, now he’s having some difficulties because some teams are going through changes.”
IBRAHIMOVIC – “I’m still attached to Ibrahimovic, although not all fans agree on this thing, because we won some titles.”
ZANETTI – “I’m still attached to Javier, not least because I have a special relationship with the captain since the beginning of this adventure that we almost started together. I commend him because he is impressive. After the injury at the end of last season, it seemed as if he would retire from the game or be back in February 2014, but instead he was back on the pitch after only two, three months. He is an example of persistent work and professionalism that has never been seen after an injury that questioned the ability to recover and make special sacrifices.”
THE NEW ROLE – “The project Inter Campus will be disconnected at the transfer of the club, my daughter will take care of it. I still have an opportunity, in some respects, to raise my hand on the board and veto certain things, such as sponsorship of arms and weapons, gambling and genetically modified foods, which is absolutely prohibited.”
