The Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta spoke to Sky before Juventus-Inter. The mercato was of course a hot topic:

“Sneijder would be great for the way we play; we know that he would like to move. But there is no ongoing negotiation. He could arrive but only at our terms. We already have a satisfying squad; Pereyra has shown that he is a valid choice. If there are good opportunities then we will take advantage of them. At the moment there are none, and we are not in a situation that we have to act.”

Marotta had this to say about technology in football:

“We are in favor of goal line technology. But not about dubious episodes on the pitch. Garcia keeps talking about Juve-Roma but in the last few games there have been a lot of episodes in his favor. The rules of the game should be accepted and the Roma coach should do that as well.”
