Fabio Della Giovanna spoke to Inter Channel after his Serie A debut tonight at Mapei Stadium.
“The debut was very emotional, it were the longest 10 minutes in my life but I’m very happy. The coach called on me, Baldini and Miangue to warm up then he called me up. I want to thank every coach I have ever had, my friends and my family for always following me. If they would have said to me last year that I would win Tim Cup and hold up the trophy at San Siro and that I would have my Serie A debut, I would have thought it was a joke. Now however there is still winning the Scudetto with the Primavera. One of my dreams were to play in Serie A which I’ve now fulfilled, I want to play on a high level and also try my luck in other leagues but it’s still a long way to go. Mancini asked me today if I was calm, I said yes but that wasn’t true”.
