I don’t know about anyone else, but I cant remember the team playing as well as they did on Saturday since the Mourinho days. i couldn’t believe the all out attack approach I was seeing! I’m absolutely impressed and I can’t help but hope that we continue to play like this. If we do, all teams will fear playing us especially at home. I can’t praise the team enough for the way they played!
Relax it’s only Chievo. They allowed us playing like this. It won’t happen against the tougher teams
I’m aware that it’s only Chievo. That’s not to take anything away from Chievo. For example, in August I was thinking that the 3 points were as good as ours! Why? because “it’s only Chievo”. Chievo ended up beating us. I’m simply saying if we take that same mentality in to every game we will get the respect that we deserve and have a good chance of coming away with the 3 points regardless of the opposition.
BTW, Chievo are no “walkovers” by any means. They nearly beat us even on Saturday, and even though they ended up losing, they kept us from scoring for most of the match despite the onslaught they were having to endure. If Chievo had won it wouldn’t have been a just result. However, if we had lost I can say that we couldn’t have complained about how Inter played the match as they gave everything for 95 minutes.
True. I didn’t say the team was not playing giving everything but the tactics they chose were to accept us in their field. So the team being that attacking is partly down to Chievo.
I hear you. I guess the real test is consistency. Let’s hope that this becomes our style of play rather than a “one off”.

you do know that chievo has always been one of the most difficult clubs to face? they are very good defensively. The performance of their GK says it all, he had an extraordinary match up until icardi´s goal.

That is how a great management should be. The players will become even more motivated. it is not always about money though, but when your players perform well, it is just normal to appreciate them.
That`s why Icardi has a goal scoring BONUS for a certain levels of goals reached. That`s why Candreva & co. has that ASSIST BONUS.
That`s why the goalkeeper has the CLEAN SHEET BONUS in his contract and of course that`s why the whole TEAM has OBJECTIVE ACHIEVEMENT BONUS [UCL, Coppa Italia, etc.]
