Pordenone coach, Leonardo Colucci was not too disappointed when he talked to RAI after the winning penalty of Yuto Nagatomi ended the TIM Coppa Italia adventure for the Friulians: “The guys did it really well tonight, we were not beaten tonight and that is all I can ask for. To take an away game against Inter, leaders of the Serie A, is like winning the cup for us. But during the penalties, I actually thought we could go through. Hats off for the players who stood up and wanted to participate in the shoot-out which was in front of a lot people. Not an easy task. Luciano Spalletti told me after the game that he thought we deserved to go through to the next round, and I appreciate his honesty. Starting from tomorrow we return to regular life with both our feet on the ground and on Sunday we face Renate. In the locker room after the game there were a lot of disappointment, and I understand that, but these guys have the ability to bounce back. Again, we have to remember that we took a game against the Serie A leaders to penalties. We created 4-5 opportunities, now we turn the page, a lot of bitterness now, but that is the beautiful thing with football, on Sunday there is a new game”.

JM is still categorized as young rite? not as young as Karamoh. But the pricetag is burden him, so every mistakes would cause such a thing.
And… We had another derby della madonnina.
No, that’s because Mario did that over and over again in so many game, while Karamoh already step up in the second half with one decent shot from outside of the box.
No its because karamoh is younger and we all love youngster..
Its both.
Yes we all love youngster, but a big no when we see them fail time after time, even if it’s about Karamoh. If he keep did same mistake for the next 2 or 3 games I’m sure everyone will start bashing him.
Jao Mario is a Portuguese International that is scared to shoot and makes horrible contact on his shots, though I hate to see him leave the club. Karamoah looks cool as a cucumber makes good contact, but has bad placement. everyone blows a few shots.
Cancelo should already have 2 assists if karamoh and perisic could finished the chances..
Karamoh failed 2 easy chances and I didn’t see any “karamoh please stop shooting” like joao mario got.. lol
The advantages of being young..
And padelli really is a good backup for handa..
Its due to their goallie, who play his best tonight.
Anyway, congrats for us, and great repect for Mr. Leonardo Collucci and his squad.
That’s because he had two chances in a game that Perisic, Brozovic and even Icardi failed to score easy goals but for Joao Mario has been consistently missing open opportunity.
Both of them miss the chances, both of them are young (19 and 24).. i am not hating on karamoh because i am sure he is better than gabilol, i just didnt see any reason why we have to react differently towards the younger karamoh if they’re both miss their scoring chances…
This need to critique these young players every time they have a bad game is the reason so many fail at inter. We as fans need to support our guys even when they are not at their best. The Curva has ruined so many promising players, their is a reason they do well once they get out of the shadow of inter.
That and managers don’t play them. I have been surprised this season as we have seen all of our youngsters play.
Cancelo was awefull besides the two passes mentioned… he´ll never be Inter mateiral!
That guy can’t pass. That’s why he doesn’t play. He had some sweet crosses though.
karamoh shooting is as bad as mario
FFS Karamoh finishing has to improve, but his shooting is good unlike JM who has no shot power
