Suning’s technical coordinator, Walter Sabatini was interviewed by Sky Sport Italia during the launch of Italo Cucci’s new book about Massimo Moratti and the Moratti family’s ties with Inter.

Sabatini began by saying that “football is universal at every latitude. At Roma it was necessary to manage the transfer market with caution  as we have to do here at Inter as well. We are calm and we are in agreement with the coach, Spalletti, about what needs to be done during next year’s transfer market. However, I am here to talk about the book by Italo about Massimo Moratti, not about the transfer market. Massimo is a point of reference for Inter, as soon as I arrived at this club, I went to him in order for him to teach me all about this club’s history and get me prepared for this role.”

Sabatini was then asked about the possibility of signing Alex Teixeira and Ramires from Jiangsu Suning replying that: “we are evaluating the situation of the Jiangsu players, and we are still not done. If Joao Mario is on his wayout? Like all the players that fight for a place in next year’s FIFA World Cup, it is all about playing time. We do no want to lose him, Spalletti will together with the player find a solution and then we know what to do.”

In conclusion Sabatini was asked about a possible swap concerning Joao Mario with a Manchester United or PSG player: “At the moment he is with us and we will keep him.”
