After yesterday’s 0-0 draw against Lazio, Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport analysed the game and draw their own conclusions.

The Milano based newspaper reports that “the alarm bells are ringing at Inter after the clash against Lazio because it became more than obviuos that Lazio had more alternatives on their bench compared to the Spalletti’s squad. And the Biancocelesti from Rome are in fact one of Inter’s biggest competitors for the Uefa Champions League spot. When evaluating the substitutions from yesterday you find that Simone Inzaghi, during a key moment in the game, could put on three good players, first Lukaku then Anderson and finally Nani. For Inter, the only response to Inzaghi’s substitution was Joao Mario, Dalbert and Brozovic where at least Dalbert gave some encouraging signals in terms of approach and athletic condition. A striking difference between the two teams also from the starting players where the good feet and quick minds of Milinkovic and Luis Alberto do not have any counterparts in Inter.”
