Now that the January transfer window is open, Inter is not only looking to buy but also to reduce their roster in order to become financially stronger. This means that rumours about Inter mega failure Gabriel Barbosa are starting to come up to the surface.
One is from Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport who says that the Brazilian, currently on loan with Portuguese side Benfica, is still on vacation in Brazil, but as always gains a lot of interest from Brazilian teams where his former team Santos is in pole position. As of today, the only option is a loan deal with Santos that would cover the entire 2018 season.
Another one comes from SportItalia who also reports of a lot of interest from former club Santos, where Inter and Santos continuously seek some kind of agreement. The only obstacle remaining at this point is the Brazilian’s salary, which at this point is too high.
he wants a big salary ?!?!
for God’s sake, WHAT FOR ?!?!?!
if you follow me i said long ago that Gabigol is the next Vampeta and i was right ! clearly you can tell that fassone had some dealing into this player and his track record at AC milan proves it ! if you want to buy 150 million dollar players for only 4 million you need to re-hire Marco Branca !!
I never said much about the “Gabigol case” before, but I’ve always noticed he’s not that big of a talent as we are pushed to believe, always noticed while also hoping that wouldn’t be the case..sadly, he floped big time!
How I noticed?Well, Youtube really, lol…when you watch his skills videos, or any other’s, you would be able to notice the player’s “touch” of the ball, these touches, the way a player control the ball, pass it, shoot it..these things tell you if the player is special or not, it’s not his skill moves or his goals..it’s always the basics of handling the ball that really counts for me.
I remember when Inter signed Coutinho, I went for his youtube skill videos to watch what he’s got, and I remember there weren’t much videos about him, the one I watched was Coutinho’s skills as a teenager playing futsal..You could clearly see he’s got “that special something”..the same very thing that I never saw in Gabigol’s many many videos..
Just so you guys feel the difference, watch Ajax’s David Neres, or Bordeaux’s Malcom..
Ajax — On 30 January 2017, Neres moved to the Dutch club Ajax for a reported fee of €12 million.[1]
