Italian newspaper La Stampa confirms the rumours regarding Inter being interested in Torino player Daniele Baselli. Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has admired the player since the coach’s time in Roma, and would be glad to have him in his squad. Although Inter are in negotiations with Barcelona regarding Rafinha, Inter directors have made contact with Baselli’s agent for more details on the availability of the Italian midfielder for a transfer. The ex-Atalanta player is valued by Torino no less than €15 million, while Inter are pushing for a loan deal with a right of redemption, as that is the only way Inter can afford to bring in players in January.

SportMediaset have also confirmed that the Beneamata want to bring Baselli to San Siro on loan with an option to buy. Torino would sign off on the deal if either Godfred Donsah or Saphir Taider arrive from Bologna this month who have been requested by new head coach Walter Mazzarri.
